Cheek augmentation is about more than adding volume.

The cheeks play an important role in the overall structure, contour and balance of the face. Carefully placed dermal filler can be used to enhance cheekbone definition, support the midface and restore or create subtle projection where appropriate.
But there isn’t one standard “cheek filler” treatment.

Some faces benefit from lateral definition, others need support through the midface, and some may not need cheek filler at all. Product choice, placement and amount should be determined by your individual anatomy and the result we’re trying to achieve.

Why five points?
Skin boosters don’t always require dozens of injections across the face.

A five-point technique uses carefully selected areas on each side of the face to place product strategically, while keeping the number of injection sites to a minimum.

Sometimes a little reset is all you need.
I recently had a mini dissolve to target a small amount of old filler before having my lips refreshed.
I didn’t need to completely dissolve everything and start from zero. Instead, we selectively dissolved the areas that needed correcting, allowed everything to settle, and then reassessed before refilling.

The result: cleaner borders, improved shape and fresh, soft volume without unnecessarily dissolving filler that was sitting well.

Dissolving doesn’t always have to mean removing everything. Sometimes it’s simply about correcting what needs correcting before adding anything more.

Mini dissolve. Reassess. Refresh.

Sometimes adding more filler simply isn’t the answer.

Filler can look beautiful for years, but over time previous product, repeated treatments or migration can begin to change the shape and definition of the lips. When that happens, continuing to add volume can sometimes make the problem more noticeable rather than improve it.
Where clinically appropriate, hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, allowing the area to settle before we reassess and decide what, if anything, should come next.
Starting again doesn’t mean starting bigger.

For me, it’s about restoring definition, respecting your natural anatomy and creating a fresh treatment plan based on the lips you have now.

Sometimes the best aesthetic decision is knowing when not to add more.

Autumn marks the start of what I consider the best time of year for more corrective skin treatments.
