As humans in the modern world we are terrible at resting, something we often feel guilty for, meaning we never really switch off, which is why we absolutely encourage falling asleep in the floatation pod 💤

The water is so buoyant with 1000lbs of Epsom Salt, that your head won’t be able to turn💧we also provide halos for extra head support that you can use throughout your float.

Falling asleep whilst floating is incredibly restorative, and more often than not, floating gives you exactly what your body needs in that moment and sometimes that is true rest. With no distractions, light, sound or gravity ☁️

Finding it harder to sleep in summer? 🌙 There’s a reason for it!

Longer daylight hours, warmer nights and higher temperatures can all make it more difficult for your body to cool down and prepare for sleep.

Floatation therapy is designed to support deep relaxation by reducing external stimulation. With no light, no noise and no pressure on the body, it creates the conditions for your mind and body to properly unwind.

In this weightless environment, many people find their breathing slows, muscle tension softens, and the mind begins to switch off.

Sometimes, better sleep starts long before your head hits the pillow 💧

One of our most asked questions over the past couple of weeks is, do we have air con?

You’ll be glad to know, the answer is yes 😮‍💨

Our space is fully air conditioned, making it the perfect escape from the summer heat 🌞

And if you’re wondering about the float itself... the water isn’t like a hot bath. It’s carefully maintained at skin temperature, so after a few minutes your body stops noticing where you end and the water begins.

Step out of the heat, leave the world behind for an hour, and enjoy a space designed to help you truly switch off 💧

How can flotation therapy help during pregnancy? 🤍

As your body changes, everyday life can start to feel a little heavier. That’s why many mums-to-be find floating such a welcome opportunity to slow down, rest, and recharge.

The buoyant water fully supports your body, helping to take pressure off tired muscles, joints, and your spine. Combined with a calm, quiet environment, it creates space to soften tension, slow your breathing, and switch off from the outside world for a while.

For some, it’s simply a chance to rest. For others, it’s a peaceful space to practise breathwork, visualisation, or hypnobirthing techniques and connect with their baby.

A rare moment of true stillness during a time when your body is doing so much ✨

If you’re considering floating during pregnancy, we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have.

Here’s what the water in our float tank actually feels like during summer💧

The water in our float pod is kept at exactly skin temperature, around 34-35°C. That’s the same as the surface of your body, which means rather than feeling hot or cold, you stop feeling the water at all. It quite literally disappears.

So even on the warmest days, stepping into the float tank feels less like a hot bath and more like... nothing. Just weightlessness, quiet, and your body finally getting the chance to fully let go.

Summer is actually one of our favourite times to float, because that mental and physical overstimulation builds up fast in the heat. Come and find out what real rest feels like 🤍

We often mistake “active” rest for REAL rest, this could be in the form of doom-scrolling, watching tv, or still feeling guilty when resting. These all still require mental energy from ourselves, whether we realise it or not! 🧠

Floatation therapy gives your body and mind something most of us rarely get, which is complete uninterrupted rest and here’s how 👇

💧The Epsom salt water takes the weight off your body so your muscles can fully relax.

💧The darkness and silence remove the constant stream of stimulation your brain is fighting against every day.

💧Without anything to respond to, your mind finally gets the space to slow down.

Our sessions are booking up quickly so please plan in advance to avoid disappointment!
