Hair has never really been the whole point for me.

Ever since I was little, I’ve always loved the salon scenes in films. They were never just about the hair.

They were the place where people gathered. Where they laughed until they cried, cried until they laughed, where life happened. A place where problems felt a little lighter once they’d been shared, where pennies dropped, confidence grew, and people walked out just feeling better.

I think that’s why I became a hairdresser.

Of course I love creating beautiful, lived-in hair. I love colour, extensions and seeing someone fall back in love with their reflection.

But what I love most is people.

I know walking into a salon can feel intimidating. Trusting someone with your hair isn’t easy. It can feel vulnerable. And if I can do one thing, I hope it’s changing that feeling.

I want my chair to feel like somewhere you can exhale.

Come exactly as you are. Whether you’re chatty, quiet, anxious, excited, going through a hard time or celebrating something wonderful. Whether you’re here for a complete transformation or just a trim, you’ll never be “just another appointment” to me.

Because for me, the best part has never been the hair.
