This genuinely isn’t a moan… if anything, I’m just baffled .. but by socials and the algorithms more than anything, when it comes to business!
I LOVE that so many of you have been here long enough to know me beyond brows and lips and that you’re interested in the person behind the business. I’ve made genuine connections through this page and I wouldn’t change that🫶🏽
It’s just got me thinking about how much social media has changed the way we run small businesses
We’re no longer just expected to be good at what we do
We’re photographers, videographers, editors, content creators, storytellers… and somewhere amongst all that, we’re supposed to actually do the job we started the business for 😂
And apparently sometimes me in a nice pair of trousers is more interesting than a good set of brows or lip blush
Fair enough😂🤷🏼♀️
So this isn’t me asking anyone to start liking everything I post out of pity — PLEASE don’t 😂
More just a little reminder that when you do see work from a small business that you genuinely love, that tiny double tap, comment or share probably means far more to them than you realise
Anyway…
I’ll continue doing the PMU
And occasionally I’ll wear the trousers😂

Last night accidentally proved something I’ve been thinking about for months!
I went out, posted my outfit on my stories and my DMs went mad. Where are your trousers from? Where’s your jacket from? 🔥 after 🔥, ❤️ after ❤️, replies, likes… and genuinely, it’s lovely. I’m flattered that anyone gives a s**t what I’m wearing 😂
But it also made me think 🤔
I can spend hours creating beautiful brows, photograph them, edit the content, post them to my business page… and hear tumbleweed
Yet apparently all I need to do is put a nice pair of trousers on and everyone’s alive 😂😘
And that’s not a dig at anyone 🫶🏽
It’s actually more about what Instagram has become
Because somewhere along the way, small business owners stopped just having to be good at their jobs. Now we’re expected to be the content too
Show your life. Your face. Your family. Your holidays. Your workouts. Your personality. Your struggles. Be relatable. Be vulnerable. Keep people entertained.
And I like sharing bits of my life, I always will
But sometimes I just think… I do PMU 😂
A like, comment or share on my work probably feels completely insignificant to you. But that’s the stuff that actually helps my little business. It tells Instagram people are interested. It gets my work seen. And potentially, it puts me in front of someone who’s been looking for exactly what I do🙏
So by all means keep asking where my trousers are from 😉😘
But if you see a set of brows or lips you love along the way… give those a little love too 🫶🏽
They’re why we’re actually here😂

Simply.. they can look like your own brows.. that’s how they are meant to look.. not like tattoo

September had lots of clients (always grateful 🫶🏽), time for myself, a beautiful holiday and quality time with my husband, precious time with my beautiful granddaughter Mabel, Cinema trips and I even started doing a bit in the kitchen 😂
But again, that’s for me too — fuelling my body properly, looking after myself and actually enjoying it along the way.
And there were lots of moments, people and memories that never made it onto the camera roll… because that’s real life 😉
Now I’m ready for the darker nights, cosier months and everything that comes with them 🍂
Here’s to the final chapter of 2026… let’s see what it brings 💫
