A little bit of me behind the business 🤎

I don’t often stop and talk about myself on here. I’m usually too busy thinking about the clinic, my clients, what needs doing next and what I can make better.

But every now and then I have a moment where I look around and think… how did I actually get here?

There have been days I’ve felt completely overwhelmed, days I’ve doubted myself and plenty of moments where I’ve wondered whether I’d taken on too much. I’ve cried, I’ve stressed, I’ve changed my mind a hundred times and I’ve definitely driven everyone around me mad with the tiniest details 😂

But I kept going.

And now sometimes, when the clinic is quiet and I’m the last one there, I just stand for a minute and look around. Seeing my name on the wall and remembering that all of this once only existed in my head is quite emotional.

This place has so much of me in it. Not just the pretty things you see on Instagram, but the hard work, the sacrifices, the mistakes, the lessons and the determination behind it all.

I’m always looking at what I need to achieve next, so saying this feels strange… but I’m genuinely proud of myself.

Not because everything has been perfect, but because I didn’t give up when it wasn’t and to me, it still isn’t. There is always room for improvement and I’m learning, every single day.

I have such a chaotic home life, looking after 3 girls, caring for my neurodivergent daughter and disabled brother, as well as running this business, I sometimes feel that this place is my sanctuary 🫶

So here’s a little reminder to myself to stop every once in a while and appreciate how far you have come 🤍

And somehow, I still feel like I’m only getting started. This is my very first premises after a combined 20 years of being in the skincare business and aesthetics industry and to say this is what I’ve created, imagine what could be next? 👀
