It's that time again folks! Weekend excitement for me as I'm going to pick up another 500 or so Cacti (& some succulents) tomorrow!! Woohoo!! 🌵🌵

Been a bit quiet on IG recently because I've been really busy selling the last lot & preparing for this one..

Should be even more spectacular than last time.. the pic here is just a mini-taster of what's to come.. spikeys, furries, hairies, spikeless, balls, barrels, big, small, inbetween haha.. hopefully I'll have it all on offer for you good people..

Oh boii.. what a day!? 🥵🥶

Packed 2 mega-cactus orders - 2 absolute cactophile customers just like me! 🙈🙈 Literally took HOURS to pack all the cacti..

Also, I got gifted this absolute bad-boy of a plant! Opuntia Rufida. By a very special person . The plant is called Gloria & has a very special story behind her - far too personal to share.

But I'm going to look after this like it was my own baby! Which I guess now it is! And the conversation that accompanied the delivery was even more amazing.. reassuring there are some real folk out there still..

Can you tell I'm cooked? I can barely type properly but I had to share this beast. I'm sat here staring at it now. I was going to give it a hard prune but I might just try to keep it exactly how it is for as long as I can, because gott dang this is just a beast!!

Dear Diary.. JACKPOT!! 😍😍🙉🙉

This flippin' of mine has a proper bed, plus free roam of the house, bedroom & just about everywhere else, but he'd rather sit in a blummin' mushroom tray next to me 🥹🫠🙈

Walked past yesterday.. was so cool to see some of my plants on display for sale.. Opuntia Monocantha Variegata to be precise.. I tried to take some more photos but the reflection was too much for my camera

This shop is like plant royalty to me so sorry if I sound like I'm fan-boying, but I am 🙏🏾💚💪🏾🫡🌵

I've sold quite a few Echinopsis Cacti recently.. this is basically what's left!

I've decided not to sell the sulcorebutias as they are just too awesome to part with 🙈🙈

Wish me luck because I'm getting a new greenhouse this week 🫡🙏🏾

My living room will still be a plant factory but the needs to be rehoused as I need to be able to move inside my own home 😬💀

Plus, I don't heat my house (part of my personal rewilding efforts!) so I'm hoping a heated greenhouse means more growth throughout winter

Oh and I've got another 500 or so Cacti coming in a week, too 👀👀

A Stone's Throw Sherwood now have our plants in stock - alongside an absolutely wonderful selection of pots & planters 🥰😍

(And I have to say, the shop is much larger than what you see at first glance.. it's the kind of place we would really miss if it wasn't there, so please to keep places like this bustling well into the future..)

Sharing the joy of plants is what I'm all about, so when people do it back, it's even joyouser! 👀🤭

I also came up with a new business name this AM.. "The Cactus Factory! 🌵🌵 What a nice ring it has to it! Watch this space..!

It was inspired by my living room when I walked in this AM, which is currently quite literally a cactus factory at the moment!

I'm currently looking for land (or people's gardens!) where I can out a polycarbon greenhouse to expand the cacti & succulents even more. I've had to chill on the propagation because I simply have no more space - so sad! 🤣🤣
