I crashed -
Had a menty B -
took 9 days off
And almost fell out of love with hairdressing.

Being someone who's a people pleaser, I always do what I can to accommodate everyone.

Yes business is absolutely smashing it, but my mind & body were taking a hit.
I didn't listen to my body and pushed through, then I crashed.

Being a small business owner is a huge responsibility.
It's not just doing pretty hair 🌈

I neglected the lot!
That's what working 6 days a week and neglecting life does to you.

What I've realised -
I need to slow the heck down
I need to make time for myself
I need to have boundaries in place
I need to take 2 days off a week
I need to not people please
I need to make time for people in my life
I need to do things that make me happy

Having a set back isn't a negative, it's meant to happen to teach you a lesson & it did just that.

Thank you to everyone who had my back, dropped in on me and supported me through this.

But I'm back, mentally prepared for Christmas with a positive attitude along with some lovely days off 🤍

I've Got A New Hairline 💉

Today I went to Jurassic Tattoo Nottingham in Beeston
And got tattooed by the absolutely wonderful Sara Scribbles
who gave me exactly what I asked for 🙏🏼

I gave Sara some inspo pictures and asked her to personalise it, including 12 tiny paw prints for the 12 puppies we had a few years back.

As you all know, every tattoo on me has a meaning and this one is for them 🐾

The studio, the company, the vibe and the tattoo was honestly 10/10 I highly recommend her, check out her work and give her a follow.

Thank you for your creativity and giving me better than what I Envisioned. 🤍

The law changed on you when you were just 3 years old, your life changed and you became restricted to the things you did before.
But that's never stopped you or changed your personality.
