Angels Twelve

So many of you besties keep asking…
How did we come up with the name Angels Twelve? ✨
In Ukrainian culture we have a saying:
“The name you give a ship determines its journey.” 🚢
Our previous name was Shine Medical. It felt good at the time, but as we grew I realised it blended in with so many other clinics. Then we bought our first property — and it already had a hair salon we decided to keep. We needed a name that could hold both worlds.
My husband came up with Angels Twelve. The domain was free… and the meaning was perfect.
In RAF slang during WWII, pilots called altitude in thousands of feet “Angels”.
Angels Twelve = 12,000 feet — a height of clarity, protection and rising higher. The phrase was used on missions over Aachen and has always felt like a guardian presence.
This summer we trusted a brilliant 14-year-old designer who created and 3D-printed our symbol. Two 7-year-old painters decorated them… and now every member of the Angels Twelve team has their own personal guardian angel. 👼
And we’re proud to share that Angels Twelve is now a registered trademark and fully protected. 🛡️
