Hi I’m Andrèe, the face and practitioner behind The Zap Experience.

I have many years of experience in the beauty and wellbeing industry and hold an advanced NVQ Level 4 qualification in Laser and IPL, covering everything from skin analysis and contraindications to the science and safe operation of professional light-based equipment.
I offer IPL hair removal, Lipofirm Plus radiofrequency treatments, facials and massage, as well as Tropic Skincare products.

I’m particularly passionate about supporting people whose confidence has been affected by unwanted facial or body hair, including hormonal hair growth associated with conditions such as PCOS.

My approach is always friendly, honest and reassuring, and I take the time to listen to every client, understand their concerns and recommend treatments that are genuinely right for them.

- Correct treatment settings and device calibration

Today is the final day of PCOS Awareness Month, but the conversation must continue.

Did you know that up to 70% of women with PCOS may remain undiagnosed?

For some women, excessive facial or body hair can mean daily shaving, painful ingrown hairs and a real knock to their confidence. When clients come to me for help with unwanted hair linked to hormonal imbalances, I always encourage them to speak to their GP.

If your symptoms have been dismissed or you feel that something still isn’t right, don’t be afraid to ask more questions or seek a second medical opinion. You know your body, and you deserve to feel heard.

IPL can help manage unwanted hair, but understanding what may be causing it is important too. Let’s keep raising awareness, listening to women and talking openly about PCOS.
