£4,495 - Not your average vintage Datejust… 👀

This 1979 Rolex Datejust ref. 1601 is a particularly striking example of one of Rolex’s most iconic designs, featuring a combination we don't come across very often.

Its classic 36mm stainless steel case is complemented by an 18k yellow gold bezel and the standout feature — an uncommon two-tone Oyster bracelet.

While most vintage Datejusts are associated with the Jubilee bracelet, the bi-metal Oyster gives this example a sportier, more distinctive appearance.

The beautiful slate grey dial provides the perfect contrast against the warm gold detailing, while inside sits Rolex’s highly regarded automatic Calibre 1570.

Presented with its original Rolex box and both swing tags, this is a wonderfully complete vintage Datejust with serious collector appeal.

For us, the grey dial and two-tone Oyster bracelet is a winning combination. But would you choose Oyster or Jubilee?

£3,195 - Over 50 years old, and still effortlessly stylish. ⌚

This 1972 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref. 1550 is a beautiful example of the understated elegance that makes vintage Rolex so special.

Its classic 34mm gold-plated case features a smooth domed bezel, perfectly complementing the stunning platinum pearl-coloured dial. A combination that gives this watch a particularly refined vintage aesthetic.

Powered by the legendary automatic Calibre 1570, renowned for its reliability and mechanical pedigree, this is a Rolex that offers far more than just good looks.

Finished on a premium brown leather strap with Rolex buckle, this example is made even more special by its provenance, accompanied by both original Rolex boxes and swing tags.

A beautifully preserved piece of Rolex history, over half a century old.

Would you choose this over a modern Oyster Perpetual?

£2,995 - One of the coolest dial configurations you'll find on a vintage Rolex. 👀

This 1984 Rolex Oyster Perpetual is defined by its highly desirable white Buckley dial, featuring distinctive painted Roman numerals against a crisp white background.

It’s a combination that gives the watch considerably more character than a conventional Oyster Perpetual dial, while retaining the clean proportions and understated styling that make vintage Rolex so wearable.

Finished on a premium brown leather strap and presented with a Rolex box, the warm leather against the white dial creates a beautifully balanced vintage aesthetic.

A distinctive, elegant Rolex with a dial that collectors immediately recognise.

Would you choose a Buckley dial over a traditional stick-marker Rolex?

Three icons. Three very different interpretations of the luxury sports watch. Which one are you choosing? 👀

First, the vintage Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ref. 4100SA — unmistakable Gérald Genta design, beautifully proportioned and finished in two-tone steel and gold. A distinctive piece of Royal Oak history and a watch with serious vintage character.

Next, the Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 16600 — arguably one of the great neo-vintage Rolex tool watches. Built for serious diving, with its 40mm case, helium escape valve and wonderfully purposeful design, the 16600 represents an era when Rolex professional watches were still unapologetically functional.

And finally, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 116500LN — a modern icon. The classic Daytona silhouette, ceramic Cerachrom bezel and one of the most recognisable chronograph designs in modern watchmaking.

Vintage AP, neo-vintage Sea-Dweller or modern Daytona?

Three very different watches. We’re taking the 4100SA for sheer character — but which gets your vote?

Vintage Rolex at its most understated. ⌚

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 1005 is a beautiful example of classic Rolex design, combining timeless proportions with a particularly striking dial configuration.

Its elegant 34mm stainless steel case is complemented by a rose gold fluted bezel and matching crown, while the distinctive light-coloured dial features black Roman numerals, gold hour markers and matching hands.

Finished on a rich brown leather strap, the combination of warm gold detailing and classic Rolex styling gives this watch an incredibly refined vintage aesthetic.

An elegant alternative to the more familiar Datejust, the ref. 1005 perfectly demonstrates why understated vintage Rolex watches continue to attract collectors.

Sometimes simplicity really is everything.

COMING SOON!

Understated Patek Philippe at its finest.

The Patek Philippe ref. 3445 in solid 18k white gold is the kind of vintage watch that doesn’t need to shout to be special.

Elegant proportions, a beautifully restrained dial and the discreet appearance of white gold give the 3445 an exceptionally refined presence on the wrist. To the casual observer, it could almost pass unnoticed — but to those who know, it is unmistakably Patek Philippe.

Introduced during one of the great periods of Patek Philippe watchmaking, the ref. 3445 pairs timeless design with the mechanical craftsmanship that has made vintage Patek so highly regarded by collectors.

No oversized case. No unnecessary complication. No obvious display of precious metal.

Just 18k white gold, exceptional watchmaking and timeless design.

This is exactly why we’re increasingly excited to bring watches of this calibre into Mr Watch Winder.

Not your usual vintage Datejust… 👀

This Rolex Datejust ref. 1601 stands apart thanks to a particularly desirable combination — a sophisticated grey dial paired with a two-tone Oyster bracelet.

While vintage Datejusts are most commonly associated with the Jubilee bracelet, the two-tone Oyster gives the 1601 an entirely different character. Sportier, more substantial and considerably less frequently encountered.

The classic 36mm case, yellow-gold fluted bezel and grey dial create a beautifully balanced contrast, while the Oyster bracelet gives this vintage Rolex a presence that feels remarkably contemporary on the wrist.

A distinctive configuration of an already iconic reference — and exactly the kind of vintage Rolex we love finding.

Oyster or Jubilee on a vintage Datejust — which are you choosing?

Two very different expressions of vintage Rolex — both unmistakably Rolex.

On one side, the understated elegance of a classic Oyster Perpetual, with its crisp white Roman numeral dial, two-tone case and warm brown leather strap.

Alongside it, the unmistakable presence of the Rolex Day-Date — solid gold, fluted bezel, champagne-toned dial and the iconic day and date display that has defined the model for generations.
Different complications, different personalities, but the same timeless design language. Proof that vintage Rolex doesn’t need a bracelet to make an impression.

Which are you choosing — Oyster Perpetual or Day-Date?

A seriously complete example of an overlooked Rolex. 👀

This 2007 Rolex Air-King ref. 114200 is a superb neo-vintage example, combining classic 34mm Rolex proportions with a distinctive platinum-coloured dial featuring bold Arabic numerals.

The stainless steel case, smooth bezel and original Oyster bracelet give it a clean, understated appearance, while inside sits Rolex’s highly regarded automatic Calibre 3130.

But what really sets this example apart is its provenance.

It comes as an exceptional full set, including:

• Inner & outer Rolex boxes
• Original Rolex cushion
• Guarantee card
• Instruction manuals
• Both swing tags
• Rolex wallet

Beautifully preserved, incredibly complete and offering a very different proposition from the usual Datejust or Oyster Perpetual.

Is the Air-King one of the most underrated Rolex models of this era?

£1,995 ⌚

One of the defining designs of vintage Omega. ✨

This 1966 Omega Constellation ref. 168.005 brings together everything we love about the golden era of Omega watchmaking.

Its beautifully proportioned 35mm two-tone stainless steel and gold-plated case surrounds the iconic Pie Pan dial — a distinctive faceted design that has become one of the most recognisable and sought-after features of vintage Constellations.

Turn it over and you’ll find the famous 18k gold Observatory medallion, a hallmark of the Constellation’s chronometer heritage.

Inside sits the highly regarded automatic Calibre 561, completing a watch that delivers just as much mechanical pedigree as it does vintage character.

Finished on a premium brown leather strap and presented with an Omega travel case.

For us, the Pie Pan remains one of Omega’s greatest-ever dial designs. Would you agree?
