This took a lot of thinking and consideration before posting
But I have listened to so many other business owners who felt disheartened after buying a course online
So this gave me a little push to make this post
Because if I can help someone else not to do the same mistakes I absolutely will đź–¤
It also makes me wonder, why would anyone who spent day and night creating a course would be happy to give you your money back? Do they not respect their time and effort? Or is it just a marketing strategy?
As a brow artist, I see this misconception a lot
Clients think a high quality pre wax barrier can fully protect them if they are on Tretinoin
But here is the science: Tretinoin chemically thins your skin. A pre wax barrier only sits on top of it. When the wax is pulled, the adhesive bond is stronger than your Tretinoin-thinned skin, leading to a painful wax burn
Don’t risk your skin barrier for a wax, be sure to tell your tech if you’re using any active retinoids so we can switch you to a safe alternative like tweezing or threading
If you are a loyal waxer and absolutely hate threading then you can stop your Tretinoin skincare 2-4 weeks before your appointment
