Today is Mum and Dads cremation day! They are going together while their song, look at us is played, Mum holds a picture of Dad and Freddie and Dad, Harry and their letter from the boys to read to Mum. To the most beautiful love story I was privileged to witness. We love and miss you both always.

I’l got to be apart of getting them ready and to say my final goodbye. The funeral parlour have been amazing at helping me and the kids process all that has happened and helping me to do what my parents wanted. I hope I have made them happy and proud. I hope they can be at peace now, together and not in pain. As I said goodbye the kids could be heard out in the waiting room, making lots of noise, I took the letter we’d written from what the boys had said and they both signed it, I told my parents funny story’s and kissed them both goodbye. I made sure to wear my red lipstick, and so did mum, and I made sure not to leave lipstick marks on dads head as he’d always be cleaning it off when I used to say goodbye before. I’ve tried to do everything I can for them, I think this is how it was meant to be, we all lived a lifetime together and now I have to move on and live the rest of it on my own, for myself and for my kids. I’m not very good at this life thing, I never had the beautiful love story they did, or the successful career or exciting adventure others achieve…. But I hope I have some kind of a future without them. I hope I get to mean something now, for just being me. They were together when I saw them and they will be together from now on. Goodbye Mum and Dad, we were complicated and we were hurt by this world but I loved you beyond words. # # #
