I keep being asked, “Is the wedding season slowing down for you now?”

And honestly… I’m very lucky to say actually, no! I’m still super busy with weddings. I’m down to around four a week, alongside all my pre-wedding hair appointments, so things are definitely a little more manageable now! 😂

June, July and August were absolutely crazy, but I’m so incredibly grateful for every single booking so thank you sooooooo much!

I genuinely love being part of a bride’s special day. Helping you feel confident, beautiful and like the very best version of yourself is my passion, and I feel so lucky that my passion is also my job.

So now we’re heading into the autumn/winter wedding season, and I have to say, I do love an autumnal wedding! 🍂 All those gorgeous warm colours, lush florals and cosy autumn vibes are just so beautiful.

And as if the weddings weren’t keeping me busy enough… I’m now taking Christmas party hair & makeup bookings! 🎄

⭐ My tips when you’re searching for wedding hair inspiration…

Have you noticed that most wedding hair photos are taken from the back?
There’s a reason for that… the back is often where all the detail is!
The twists, texture, pins, accessories and intricate finishing all look beautiful from behind.
BUT, it’s important to think about the whole look.

When searching for inspiration, try to find a stylist who shows their work from all angles; Front, back AND sides. This gives you a much better idea of how the hairstyle will actually look on you, especially from the angle your guests will see most throughout the day.
The back might be what catches your eye, but your wedding hair is a 360° look.

Think about:

• What would this look like from the front?

• Where will the volume sit around my face?

• How will the sides look, do I have enough volume?

• Will I love the overall shape, not just the back?

• Will my wedding veil and hair accessories work with the style?

So save the styles you love but don’t forget to look at the whole picture.
