The ear piercing I say no to the most? A daith.

Every ear is different, but they all have one thing in common: a fold of cartilage. Whether that fold is thick and well-defined enough is what decides a daith.

Without it, the jewellery sits wrong and healing gets harder. It might not last long at all.

So we picked something that suited their anatomy instead. Same vibe, better outcome.

A piercer who says no is a piercer who’s thinking about your healing, not just the sale.

Inktober, but make it slow.

This month I’m using Inktober to sharpen three skills at once, designing on the iPad (I’m s**t at anything tech), making stencils, and handpoke.

No rushing, just a needle, a steady hand and a lot of patience.
