So when you look at inspiration pictures, here’s what to check. Is the shine exactly the same from root to tip? Real hair catches the light differently in every section. Are the blonde pieces perfectly even, as if someone painted them on? Is the hair suspiciously thick, with no flyaways or frizz anywhere? Is the root blend so seamless it almost disappears? And is the starting colour anywhere near yours? A big change in one photo can mean several appointments in real life.
My job is to give you the best version of your own hair, for your hair type, your colour history and your lifestyle. That’s why the consultation matters so much. Bring your pictures, AI or not, and we’ll talk honestly about what’s possible and how we get there.

She was tired of chasing her roots, so now her greys are leading. In session one I didn’t touch the regrowth. I broke down the band, neutralised the warmth and added fine babylights to mimic her grey as it grows through. It’s not finished, and it isn’t meant to be. We’ll tone in a few weeks and do the next sitting in January.
