How gorgeous is this?

This lovely young lady was the bride’s daughter, and I wanted to create something soft, pretty and age-appropriate that would still feel really special for her mum’s wedding day.

I waved the hair throughout, taking my time to create lots of soft movement, before gently bringing sections back and carefully pinning them into place.

And then came that beautiful lace bow… 🎀✨

Such a simple finishing touch, but it completely made the style!

I absolutely loved creating this one — romantic, feminine and perfect for a very special mother-and-daughter wedding morning. 🤍

For the last few weeks, I’ve been teasing that something exciting is coming to Claire Reid Hairdressing…

And now I can finally tell you! 🤍

✨ INTRODUCING INVISIBLE HAIR ENHANCEMENT ✨

A brand-new specialist service coming this autumn, designed to add beautiful, natural-looking fullness to suitable areas of the hair.

This is something I’ve wanted to introduce because SO many ladies I meet tell me the same thing…

“My hair just isn’t as thick as it used to be.”

“I hate how fine it’s becoming around the sides.”

“I wish I could just have a little more hair around my temples.”

And that’s exactly what inspired me to look into Invisible Hair Enhancement. 🤍

This isn’t necessarily about having long hair or traditional hair extensions.

Sometimes you simply want your own hairstyle to look fuller, thicker and more balanced.

I’ll be completing specialist professional training in October and I honestly cannot WAIT to bring this service to my clients.

There will also be an opportunity later this autumn for a limited number of suitable ladies to receive the service at a special discounted model rate while I build my portfolio.

👰The Bride | Burgundy Textured Updo

BRIDAL HAIR 🤍✨

What a gorgeous head of hair I had the pleasure of styling this morning for my beautiful bride!

We started by waving all of the hair to create movement and texture before I worked it into this soft, romantic low updo, carefully pinning each section into place.

The beautiful deep burgundy colour made all that texture really stand out, and the addition of her sparkly bridal hairpiece was just perfect. ✨

It was such a privilege being part of her wedding morning and creating the hairstyle she would walk down the aisle wearing. 🥰

Wishing my lovely bride and her new husband the most wonderful wedding day and a lifetime of happiness. 🤍🥂

☕🍰 TEA & CAKE FOR A GOOD CAUSE! 💚

After a VERY hard session at the gym, what better way to recover than a catch-up with a friend, a lovely cup of tea and… of course… CAKE! 😂🍰

We popped into the Willen Hospice Café at Willen Lake, somewhere I always love supporting whenever I can. 💚

Willen Hospice does such incredible work for our local community, so if enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake helps support them… what better way to do my bit?! 😂☕🍰

We even got a little bit of fresh air with the 10–15 minute walk to and from where we’d parked — probably just as well after the cake! 😂

Good company, tea, cake and supporting an amazing local charity. Perfect! 💚

✨ Mother of the Groom | Soft Low Updo

MOTHER OF THE GROOM HAIR ✨🤍

Another beautiful wedding style from today — this time for the Mother of the Groom.

We started by waving the hair to give me plenty of softness, texture and movement to work with.

Rather than creating something overly structured, I wanted this to have that lovely soft, effortless feel, so I worked the hair into a low textured updo, carefully pinning and shaping each section as I went.

Finished with her delicate hair accessory, it was elegant without feeling too formal — just perfect for a Mother of the Groom. 🥰

I absolutely loved creating this style and seeing the whole look come together.

Wedding and occasion hair is definitely getting me back into my creative zone! ✨
