We're about to say the C word in October… Christmas. 😂🎄
Not because we're trying to wish the next two months away... But because if you already know you have Christmas parties, events, photos or plans coming up and you'd like your skin feeling its best, now is a much better time to think about it than December 20th!
Some professional skin treatments give you that lovely fresh-skin feeling quickly... Others, particularly treatments focused on collagen production, skin regeneration, pigmentation or longer-term skin quality need time and sometimes a course of treatments to produce the changes you're looking for!
So rather than asking: “What can I squeeze in the week before?"... Start with: “How would I like my skin to feel by December?”

If your skin suddenly feels tight, sensitive, irritated or everything you put on it seems to sting, your first thought might be.. “I need something stronger.”... Sometimes you need the opposite! 👇
Your skin barrier plays an important role in keeping moisture in and irritants out... SO throwing more actives, exfoliation and new products at already unhappy skin can make things worse. Our advice? strip it back, gentle cleanse, hydrate, moisturise, SPF... give your skin a chance to settle.

October is the perfect time to start putting YOU first without any particular reason!
Sometimes it's “my skin has been doing my head in for six months.”.. Sometimes the reason is feeling self conscious... Sometimes it's collagen... Sometimes it's needing a top up... And sometimes it's simply… “I've had a WEEK and I'd quite like to lie horizontally somewhere for an hour where nobody needs anything from me.”😂
All are equally valid reasons to book the appointment!

This is probably one of the most common things we hear in an aesthetics appointment and it's a really valid point, BUT it might not instantly mean you need a face full of filler.
“I look tired” doesn't automatically mean one thing... It could be:
→Skin quality
→Dehydration.
→Pigmentation.
→Changes around the eyes.
→Collagen and elasticity.
→Changes in facial volume or support.
Or a combination of little things you can't quite put your finger on.
Which is exactly why “looking tired” isn't a treatment plan. We'd rather hear what you've noticed, how you feel and what you'd like to change, if anything... before we even start talking treatment names!
Sometimes the conversation might lead to skin treatments, polynucleotides, Profhilo Structura or carefully placed facial filler.
