✨ Salon Assistant Opportunity ✨
We’re looking for an experienced Salon Assistant to join our team and work closely alongside Janine in one of the busiest salons in the North East.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep the salon running smoothly, support Janine throughout the day, and make sure every client has a great experience. If you’ve worked in a busy salon before, enjoy working as part of a team, and like keeping things organised, we’d love to hear from you.
Hours
20+ hours per week, with flexibility required, including Saturdays.
The Role
You’ll be:
* Supporting Janine throughout the day and helping appointments run smoothly.
* Keeping workstations clean, organised, and fully stocked.
* Assisting during appointments where needed.
* Learning to remove mesh systems and helping with blow-dries and styling after training.
* Helping with the day-to-day running of the salon.
* Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, including general salon housekeeping.
* Delivering excellent customer service to every client.
* Creating social media content and working with our marketing team to capture day-to-day salon life.
* Supporting the rest of the team whenever needed.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has previous salon experience (essential).
* Is organised, reliable, and happy to use their own initiative.
* Enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
* Is friendly, professional, and confident with clients.
* Is comfortable appearing on social media content.
* Is willing to learn and develop new skills.
* Is flexible with working hours, including Saturdays.
About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being busy, takes pride in their work, and is happy to get stuck in. You’ll be an important part of the team, helping things run smoothly while continuing to grow your own skills and experience.
