We can tailor treatment intensity depending on your skin, goals and how socially unavailable you’re prepared to become.

Light treatment = lighter recovery.
Stronger treatment = more obvious recovery.

Because if those lips enter the room four minutes before the rest of her face, I fear we may have stretched the definition of “subtle”

I’m not anti-filler

That would be a fairly catastrophic career choice!

I’m also not anti-big lips.
Want big lips? Gorgeous
Want them juicy? Fine
Want them visible from the International Space Station?

But can we PLEASE stop calling absolutely everything “natural” because we’ve collectively decided it sounds more tasteful?

Sometimes a client will show me an inspiration photo and say:
“I want something really subtle and natural like this.”
And I’m looking at a woman with lips like two memory-foam travel pillows.

Darling...
Those lips are many things
Glossy? Yes.
Impressive? Potentially...

Natural?
They’ve got their own council tax band!

And practitioners are just as guilty.
“Beautiful natural enhancement ✨”

Ma’am.
You have changed the architecture of that woman’s postcode.
Her Cupid’s bow could open envelopes.
Her side profile has applied for planning permission.

There is nothing wrong with an obvious aesthetic result if that is what the client genuinely wants and it can be done appropriately.

Just CALL IT WHAT IT IS!

Because “natural” isn’t a magic word we sprinkle over 4ml and suddenly David Attenborough starts narrating it.
“And here, in her natural habitat, we see the lesser-spotted Russian lip…”

Sometimes the aesthetic is subtle
Sometimes the aesthetic is GLAM

Sometimes the aesthetic is:
Yes, I’ve had my lips done. What about it?

And frankly?
I respect that far more than looking me dead in the eye with two king-size duvets attached to your mouth and whispering:
“Super natural.”

Behave.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We turn nitrogen into plasma.

Plasma creates controlled thermal energy. The energy creates a controlled injury response.

Your skin goes:

There’s Something that I wish got talked about more in aesthetics.

The difference between assessing someone’s face properly…

…and looking for more things you can sell them.
And I will never do the second!

Because people often come to see me when they’re already feeling vulnerable. And when you are already questioning something about your appearance, the person you trust with your face has an enormous amount of influence and ethical responsibility

I will always assess the whole face. That’s part of my job.

But I will never use a consultation to point out everything I think you could change.

Maybe there’s one thing they’ve started noticing.
Something that looks different.
Something that bothers them in photographs or the mirror.

They may already have spent weeks wondering whether anyone else can see it.

The last thing they need is for me to sit across from them and start adding to the list.

“Have you thought about this?”
“You could do something here.”
“And while we’re at it…”

Suddenly, the one thing that brought them through the door has become five.

And now they’re looking at their face differently.
Not because anything changed.
Because someone planted the idea.

I call that aesthetic farming.

Sowing little seeds of insecurity in the hope they eventually turn into bookings.

And I refuse to practice that way

My job is to listen to what is actually bothering you.

To assess you properly.
To explain what I see.
And to tell you honestly whether I think treatment is appropriate.

Sometimes I’ll recommend something different from what you came in asking for.

Sometimes I’ll tell you to wait.

And sometimes I’ll tell you that I don’t think you need to do anything at all.

Because a consultation shouldn’t leave you with a shopping list of insecurities you didn’t arrive with.

It should leave you feeling heard, informed and safe.

I’m not interested in the quick sale or the easy booking.

I’m interested in doing what I genuinely believe is right for you.

Even when that means saying no.

Especially then.

We need to discuss facials.

Lovely? Yes.
Relaxing? Absolutely.

Will being stroked with a jade roller while Enya plays convince your fibroblasts to produce
significant new collagen?

Tragically, no.

Sometimes ageing skin needs slightly more encouragement.

Ours involves nitrogen plasma. Which admittedly sounds less relaxing.But considerably more interesting.
