Fingers and Toes

✨ THIS TIME LAST YEAR… 💅

I was doing my nail course, and it seems like ages ago now! 🥰

Fast forward to today, and I've also completed my Level 3 body massage course, and I'm currently training in reflexology. 💆‍♀️🦶

When I think about everything I will have achieved by Christmas, it's quite exciting!

In between all of this, I've been slowly but surely building my little summerhouse treatment room, getting it ready for this next chapter of Fingers and Toes by Julie.

And as promised, here's a little snippet of where I'm up to with my treatment room!

The paintbrushes have been put away, and I'm now on with the finishing touches! It's so exciting to see my little space nearly ready, and I can't wait to share the finished room with you all!

Well… the revision paid off! 😂📚

I've recently sat my 1st A & P exam as part of my Level 3 Reflexology training, and I'm pleased to say I passed! 🎉

There’s been lots going on behind the scenes lately, juggling studying and working on getting my new treatment room ready, it feels good to be able to tick another part of my training off the list though.

Now… back to more painting!

The white walls are finally done and it’s starting to look like a proper little room rather than a building site! 😂

There’s still plenty to do, but I’m finally starting to see it all coming together.

And I might have a little colour reveal coming soon… 👀💚

Sometimes you just have to improvise!

I needed to protect the lights before painting the ceiling, so this was my rather ingenious solution. Luckily I had some vinyl gloves to hand! 🤣

My son came up while I was painting, opened the door, looked up and asked "Mam, why have you got condoms hanging from the ceiling? 😂

Safe to say, he wasn't quite as impressed with my ingenious idea as I was!🙄

Another little delivery arrived today. I do love getting parcels! 😂

Slowly getting everything stocked up and ready for the treatments I'll be offering.

It's all coming together! 🥰

My Songbird reflexology wax has arrived and I couldn't wait to have a look!

I've gone for Balance and Unscented in the larger pots, along with smaller pots of the scented waxes that were available, Lavender, Zest and Tea Tree & Mint.

Lavender – a lovely calming, relaxing fragrance
Zest – fresh and uplifting
Tea Tree & Mint – fresh and refreshing

I decided to get the scented ones in smaller pots to begin with, so I can see which fragrances are the most popular before investing in larger ones.

I'm really looking forward to using them during my reflexology practice.

✨ My current nails ✨

I fancied something soft and pretty this time, so I've gone for CND Plexigel in Barre Beauty 💕

I had a little experiment with a tiny line of pink cat eye and blooming gel, and it gave me this lovely soft ombré effect with a subtle sparkle when the light catches it. ✨

I'm really happy with how they turned out! 🥰

🦶REFLEXOLOGY CASE STUDY CLIENTS WANTED 🦶

As part of my VTCT Level 3 Reflexology training, I'm looking for people to help me complete my practical case studies.

I'm looking for clients who would be happy to have 6 complimentary reflexology sessions, with each session lasting approximately 45 minutes. Spaces are limited.

I'm also looking for people who may be interested in taking part in individual case studies, which involves one reflexology session.

Appointments will be mobile for the time being, so I'm looking for people in and around Mexborough.

🌿 Wellbeing Fair 🌿

I realised I never actually shared anything about the Wellbeing Fair I attended at Scawthorpe Community Centre!

I took along some of the services I offer and gave a few mini treatments on the day, including hand and arm massages and a Footlogix foot treatment🦶

One lady who had a Footlogix treatment was absolutely amazed at the amount of dry skin that came off in such a short space of time! 😂 She couldn't believe the difference.

It was lovely to chat to people about my new treatment room and the services I'm offering, I also got the opportunity to chat with other Business owners and find out about them too. Im so glad I took part.

A big thank you to Katie from Healing Holistics for inviting me along and giving me the opportunity to be part of the event. It was lovely to be involved. 🥰
