A day of learning, connecting and continuing to develop my practice at the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses Conference ✨
Keeping my knowledge current is such an important part of being a Registered Nurse & Independent Prescriber.
Today was all about consolidating skills, sharing knowledge with other medical professionals and exploring the evolving evidence around regenerative medical aesthetics, always with patient safety, appropriate treatment selection and evidence-based practice at the heart of what I do. 💉🧬
And the perfect end to a brilliant day… walking back towards Birmingham train station and hearing this incredible voice. 🎶❤️
I genuinely could have stood there and listened all night.
Learning, inspiration and a little unexpected music to finish the day perfectly. ✨

A little glimpse of the other side of my working week.

Alongside running Revive & Replenish, I continue to work clinically in hospital theatres, something I’m incredibly proud of and that keeps my nursing knowledge and skills very much part of my everyday practice.

For me, aesthetics has never just been about how a treatment looks. It’s about patient assessment, anatomy, safe prescribing, recognising complications and knowing when not to treat.

Bringing those clinical standards into my aesthetics practice is something I’ll never compromise on.

I’m really looking forward to attending the BAMAN Autumn Aesthetic Conference 2026 in Birmingham next week.

As a Registered Nurse and Independent Prescriber working in aesthetics, continuing to learn and develop is such an important part of my practice.

Aesthetic medicine is constantly evolving, and for me it’s about staying up to date with the latest evidence, techniques and clinical guidance, while always keeping patient safety at the heart of everything I do.

I’m looking forward to learning from other medical professionals, gaining new clinical insights and bringing that knowledge back to my patients at Revive & Replenish.

Because beautiful, natural results should always be underpinned by safe, ethical and evidence-based practice. 🤍

Today was one of those really emotional days as a mum. ❤️

I waved my middle boy off to Thailand today, with an open ticket and an adventure ahead of him. I couldn’t be more proud of the kind, loving and genuinely wonderful young man he has become.

I’m so excited for him and everything he’s about to experience, but my heart feels a little heavy too. I’m going to miss him more than he knows,  especially, when no matter how late it is, he always comes in to give his mum a 2am kiss on the head. 🥹❤️

There’s such a strange mixture of emotions when your children grow up. Part of you wants to keep them close forever, while another part knows you’ve raised them to go out into the world, live their lives and have their own adventures.

So although there were definitely tears today, underneath them I’m incredibly happy. Go and have the most amazing adventure. See everything, experience everything, make memories and enjoy every minute.

I love you to bits, and I’m ridiculously proud to be your mum. ❤️

I’m delighted to finally be registered with the NMC as an Independent Nurse Prescriber.

Another qualification, another chapter, and most importantly, another step towards providing my patients with safe, evidence-based and comprehensive care.
A lot of hard work went into this one, so today I’m allowing myself to feel very proud. ❤️

There are moments in life that make you stop and realise just how lucky you are.

Tonight my eldest son, now 22, got paid and insisted on taking me out for a belated birthday meal. ❤️
As a parent you spend years trying to raise kind, respectful and thoughtful children, never expecting anything in return. So when they choose to show their love in moments like this, it means more than words can say.

i'm incredibly proud of the man he's become and feel truly privileged to be his mum. Thank you for making my heart so full tonight. 🥰

Some souls don't need words to understand you.
She has stood beside me through some of the hardest chapters of my life, never asking questions, never judging, just quietly reminding me to keep going.
The strongest hearts don't always speak... sometimes they simply rest their head on your shoulder and let you know you're never alone.
