✅ To know and understand your desired outcome: Research different color options and techniques such as balayage / full head foils / scalp bleach. What is it you’re most drawn to? What tones do you like? What don’t you like? Make sure you’re on the same page with your stylist.

✅ Check the stylist’s portfolio: Look for past color correction work to gauge their expertise and style.

✅ Understand the process: colour corrections need time and commitment. More often than not, you will require multiple sessions, especially if you’re coming to a new stylist. Blonding is a process. Research the steps involved in color correction to have realistic expectations.
