Ever wondered why, when treating the forehead with anti-wrinkle, we often recommend treating the frown area too?
It all comes down to muscle balance.
The frontalis muscle in the forehead acts as an elevator, helping to lift the brows. The muscles in the frown area act as depressors, pulling the brows in and down.
If the forehead is relaxed on its own, that lifting action is reduced while the downward pull remains active, which can sometimes leave the brow area feeling heavier.
By treating both areas strategically, we can reduce that downward pull too and help maintain better balance and brow position.
Good anti-wrinkle treatment isn’t just about softening lines. It’s about understanding anatomy, muscle movement and how the face works as a whole.
