I can’t quite believe I’m writing this… The Doll House is turning 16 🥹💗

I was just 24 with a two-year-old daughter when I left my full-time job at Nails Inc in Selfridges. I wanted to carry on doing what I loved, but more than anything I wanted to be present for my baby girl (however this become more than a full time job) 😂

I started out self-employed, renting a little room in another salon. My business grew so quickly that before long I’d outgrown that room, took a huge leap… and The Doll House was born ✨

16 years later, I look back and realise I didn’t just build a salon

I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside some of the most incredible and talented women, many of whom have become my very best friends. We’ve grown up together, had babies, celebrated the best times and supported each other through the hardest 💗

And then there are our clients 💖

Some of you have been with us almost from the very beginning. We’ve watched each other grow, dolled you up for first dates, celebrated engagements, got you ready for your weddings, parties, pampered your pregnant feet, & your watched families grow, shared heartbreaks, new beginnings and thousands of conversations in between.

So many of you stopped feeling like clients a long time ago and became our friends 💞

And I think that’s what makes 16 years feel so special, the doll house is more than just a family it’s a community 💖

So I’d love to get everyone together — our amazing team, the girls who have been part of The Doll House over the years, and our amazing clients past and present and celebrate together 🥂💖
