My guide on how to introduce retinol/retinal into your skin routine⬇️

Low and slow is keyyy for starting a retinol or retinal to avoid irritation as much as possible!

My top 3 favourite retinal products are:
- Medik8 Crystal Retinal (start on number 1 if your skins sensitive or start on 3 if your not sensitive)
- Skin Rocks Retinoid 2
- SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.5

Starting your skin journey can be overwhelming, trust me I’ve been there. This is where I come in🤍

Knowing how to build your skincare routine and what to add in can be daunting so let me break it down for you ⬇️

- Double cleanse. Start with an oil or gel then use a cream or gentle foam cleanser. I love the Haru Haru oil cleanser, Dr Sam’s Flawless cleanser, Kate Somerville Goat Milk cleanser + Skin 1004 Foam cleanser.
- Hypochlorous Acid if you’re breakout prone or a hydrating serum. I love the purito centella serum or the Haru Haru Black Rice Essence.
- Next step is a moisturiser that works for your skin type. I love the Aestura Barrier Cream and the Avene Moisturiser. .official
- The most important step of all, SPF. Do not skip this step. My favourites are the Beauty of Joseen and Dermaceutic post treatment spf.

It’s all about finding what works with your skin type and finding products that you will actually use and that you enjoy using every day and night🤍
