π¨ WHEN A COMPLICATION HAPPENSβ¦ WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT?
Complications in aesthetics aren't only about knowing how to respond to a vascular occlusion.
Itβs recognising when something isnβt following a normal recovery, knowing when to observe, when to intervene and when to escalate and being able to manage the patient and the situation confidently from beginning to end.
COMPLICATIONS MASTERCLASS
with Dr Alberto Leguina-Ruzzi MD PhD
π
Monday 5th October
π Manchester
β° 4-hour in-person masterclass
This comprehensive session takes you from recognition to resolution, covering complications associated with:
π Dermal fillers
𧬠Skin boosters & mesotherapy
π§ Injection lipolysis
π Botulinum toxin
𧡠PDO threads
𧬠PLLA, CaHA & other biostimulators
But the course goes much further than simply learning individual complication protocols.
You'll explore:
β’ Normal recovery vs a true complication
β’ Early warning signs & clinical decision-making
β’ Vascular occlusion, tissue ischaemia & emergency recognition
β’ Hyaluronidase protocols
β’ Delayed nodules, inflammatory reactions & infection
β’ The essential complication toolkit every clinic should have
β’ Working effectively with your prescriber & knowing when to refer
β’ Managing difficult conversations and maintaining patient confidence
β’ Documentation, photography, incident reporting & professional protection
β’ Prevention strategies
β’ Interactive real-world clinical cases
The aim is to develop the clinical judgement to recognise problems early, respond appropriately and manage the entire complication pathway safely and professionally.
Because managing a complication isn't just about knowing a protocol, it's about being prepared when something doesn't go to plan.
π© Places are intentionally limited to keep the sessions interactive.

π¬ DERMATOLOGY IN AESTHETIC PRACTICE
π
Sunday 11th β Wednesday 14th October
Choose from a 2-Day Skin Specialist Pathway or the complete 4-Day Aesthetic Practitioner Pathway.
This goes far beyond standard skin education, exploring areas including skin cancer awareness and lesion recognition, autoimmune and inflammatory skin conditions including lupus, menopause and skin health, wound healing, and knowing when to treat, pause, stabilise or refer
The 4-Day pathway then progresses further for practitioners working with advanced aesthetics, exploring facial architecture, ethnicity and cultural aesthetics, differences in facial bone structure and ageing, vascular considerations and how these factors influence assessment, treatment planning and product placement.
It's about learning to look at the whole patient before choosing the treatment. The 4-day pathway progressing further for practitioners working with advanced treatments such as fillers and PDO threads.
π HAIR RESTORATION 360Β°
π
Date TBC
Would you know WHY your patient may be losing their hair before you treated them?
Hair restoration is much more than simply injecting the scalp.
Learn how to carry out a structured hair-loss assessment, recognise different patterns and presentations, and identify red flags that may indicate your patient requires medical investigation or specialist referral rather than aesthetic treatment.
Explore factors that can be associated with hair loss, including nutritional deficiencies, endocrine and metabolic considerations, medications, and autoimmune or inflammatory clues.
Then move into mesotherapy, product and ingredient selection, LED/light therapies, topical approaches, supplementation, scalp care and building personalised multimodal treatment plans based on the individual patient.
RECOGNISE β’ TREAT APPROPRIATELY β’ REFER
π¨ FULL AESTHETIC COMPLICATIONS MASTERCLASS
π
Date TBC | 4 Hours
Would you know when a normal post-treatment reaction has become a true complication and what to do next?

π¨ Most practitioners are treating the skin... without ever being taught how to assess it properly.
Before choosing a peel... Before reaching for polynucleotides... Before skin boosters... Before PDO threads...
Do you truly understand what you're treating?
Our Dermatology in Aesthetic Practice programme isn't built around products or protocols.
It's built around understanding the skin itself.
Through specialist modules, you'll learn how to
βοΈ Assess skin using a structured clinical approach
βοΈ Recognise common dermatological conditions that may influence treatment decisions
βοΈ Understand when skin isn't ready for treatment
βοΈ Create treatment plans based on skin biology, not social media trends
This isn't about learning another treatment.
It's about changing the way you think every time a client sits in front of you.
Led by internationally recognised dermatologist Dr Alberto Leguina-Ruzzi.

π€ What if the biggest mistake in PDO thread lifting isn't the thread itself?
Many practitioners are taught where to place threads.
Very few are taught why.
π What if better results came from understanding facial anatomy, biomechanics and vector planning before a single thread is inserted?
β¨ Something exciting is coming this October...

π NEW EXCITING COURSE coming in October with Dr Alberto Leguina-Ruzzi
The Enrich Dermatology Course has been created for practitioners who want to improve how they assess the skin and face before building a treatment plan.
Practitioners will learn how to:
π¬ assess skin readiness
β οΈ recognise red flags
π₯ understand inflammatory skin conditions such as acne and rosacea
π¦ identify systemic warning signs such as lupus-type skin changes
π recognise suspicious skin changes and skin cancer warning signs that may require referral
π€ understand facial ageing patterns
π consider ethnicity, facial identity and bone structure when planning treatment
π« understand when certain treatments or approaches may not be appropriate for every facial structure
π build safer treatment protocols based on the individual patient in front of them
This is not about diagnosing medical conditions.
It is about developing safer clinical awareness, knowing when to treat, when to pause, when to stabilise and when referral may be the safest option.
It is also about understanding that aesthetic treatment should not be copy and paste. Not every face needs the same approach, and not every treatment is suitable for every facial structure.
Taught by Dr Alberto Leguina-Ruzzi β Dermatologist, Biologist and International Aesthetic Trainer.

Starts 11th October

π§ Are you assessing the face or following a template?
Come and learn all about
π Ethnicity. Bone structure. Facial identity.
These are not things that should be overlooked in aesthetics yet they are not always explored in standard training.
As part of the Enrich Dermatology Course, practitioners will learn how ethnicity, facial architecture, bone structure and cultural aesthetics can influence treatment decisions.
Because not every face should be assessed the same way.
And not every treatment plan should follow a trend or template.
This part of the course is about understanding why certain treatments may not be appropriate for every face, how to preserve natural features, and how to plan more ethically, respectfully and clinically.
Taught by Dr Alberto Leguina-Ruzzi β Dermatologist, Biologist and International Aesthetic Trainer.

Starts 11th October
