My lovely client came in with extremely damaged hair form years of self bleaching/overlapping at home wanting to go darker to give her hair a break and eventually get it back to a healthy texture but something happened to me that I have never experienced before! Even after following all of the correct steps ever taught to me and using my 18+years experience to create this transition the hair was just too porous to absorb even the warmest of tones on a low level lift. However we managed to create a root melt into a dimensional blonde for a temporary solution with added K18 treatment. With the correct aftercare and treatments we hope to be able to create the complete inspirational look in the near future. In the meantime it will be easier and healthier to maintain. Watch this space!
