Cara came in for a visit after we talked about bobbing her hair. At first she was apprehensive so we kept it safe at first but after a month or so, she got in touch and here we are! A stunner of a bob that can be air dried or heat styled (air dried in the pictures)

We’ve been talking a lot recently about the term ‘barbers’. A traditional barbershop would be clipper focused and heavily male dominated with rushed appointments to provide a quick service at a cheap price

At Barber Below we are a hybrid option. We work with all hair types, textures and length and use an array of tools to do so. This means that the traditional walk-in 30 minute appointments only work for a small selection of our clients.

You need more time spent on your hair as we do a mix of hair colour, Wolf cuts, curly cuts and more

The traditional ‘barbershop’ model doesn’t work for us or our clients so we are making changes to reflect what’s changing in our industry

Our service menu and pricing is changing to reflect this level of intricacy needed to ensure you have the best level of service achievable whilst still retaining some elements of a barber experience that provide familiarity for our clients

Phase one will provide haircuts that are either 30 minutes or 1 hour in length which will allow for our team to take the time on your hair that it deserves

Phase two will look at tackling classism within the industry and will be launched later this year (so excited to tell you all about this but we’re currently ensuring that we’ve ironed out all the kinks before launch)

We are so grateful for you all for supporting us and allowing us the space to keep breaking boundaries in Barber Below to create a more inclusive service for all
