This trip was full of experiences I’ll never forget. 🥹

Getting to spend time with local families, cook and share food with them, experience their way of life and see so much of Tanzania beyond the typical tourist spots made it even more special.

If you’re new to lip blush, pigment selection can feel SO confusing, especially when you’re faced with a whole range of colours and don’t know where to start.

One of the biggest things to remember is that you’re not simply choosing a colour based on what looks pretty in the bottle.

You need to consider your client’s natural lip colour, skin tone, undertones, existing pigmentation, hair colour and overall features when deciding which pigments will work best.

And remember - the same pigment can heal very differently from one client to another because you’re working with their natural lip colour underneath.

This is where understanding colour theory becomes so important. Once you understand how pigments interact with different undertones and natural lip colours, choosing your shades becomes much more intentional and your confidence starts to grow. 🤍
