In March, Boobee held its first Wellness Day, and ever since, a few of the team have been regulars at Athletic Pilates Uk

This is hugely beneficial for joints, muscles and strength, but the power it gives your mind, and the increase in self belief is huge!

There’s plenty of gasps and moans throughout, but the sense of achievement and satisfaction is a reward that none of us wish to sacrifice.

There will be more wellness news in the coming weeks 😃

Toady we attended the new National Breast Imaging Academy at Prevent Breast Cancer’s headquarters - Wythenshawe Hospital. Years of fundraising to build and equip this state of the art, first of its kind world-wide academy, has come to fruition.

Training of radiographers, clinical delivery of mammograms and education, will all take place here. Cutting-edge research will continue to require funding, to bring the incidence of breast cancer down through risk prediction & reduction and prevention strategies.

Women’s lives will be changed. Women’s lives will be saved. Families will be spared the heartache of losing loved ones to a disease which 1:7 women are currently diagnosed with. Although rare, male breast cancer exists, and this academy will serve all.

This is where your money went. All the support through ticket sales, raffle prizes, venue sponsorship and donations, all played their part in bringing this to life. We’re more than proud, and we’re very grateful to all of our supporters, we couldn’t have done it without you, and Prevent Breast Cancer couldn’t have done it without all of us.

The ticket price for our wellness day was a token gesture in comparison to the value of the day.
The aim was to provide a “gift” for women, and from the feedback, this is exactly what we achieved.
Aside from the venue supporting us extremely generously, and each and every presenter giving many hours of their own time to come and share their expertise, we had companies near and far, sponsoring, donating and just being incredibly kind and generous, in order to help us provide THE BEST WELCOME BAGS to our guests ❤️🐝
