It’s hard to know where to begin…

After an incredible 4 1/2 years, I’ve made the very difficult decision to sell the shop.

This hasn’t been a decision I’ve taken lightly. The shop has been such a huge part of my life, and closing this chapter is incredibly emotional. It has brought me so many wonderful memories, laughter, challenges, and most importantly, amazing people.

To every single person who has walked through our doors – thank you. Your loyalty, kindness and support have meant more than you’ll ever know. So many of you came in as customers, but over the years you became friends, and that’s something I’ll always treasure.

I also want to say the biggest thank you to my incredible staff. You’ve been the heart of the shop, and I couldn’t have done any of this without your hard work, dedication, and friendship. You’ve helped create the warm, welcoming place that so many people love, and I’ll be forever grateful for each and every one of you.

While it’s sad to say goodbye, I’m so proud of everything we’ve built together and of the wonderful community that grew around the shop. I’ll always look back on these years with immense gratitude and a very full heart.

As one chapter closes, another begins. I’d like to give the warmest welcome to the new owners of The Tan Hut. I know you’ll make them feel just as welcome as you made me feel from day one. I’m so pleased to say that The Tan Hut will continue to be the amazing sunbed shop you’ve come to know and love, and I have every confidence that it’s in great hands. I wish them every success and happiness as they begin their own journey.

Thank you all for supporting my dream, for every visit, every chat, every laugh, and for making this journey one I’ll never forget.

I hope you’ll continue to support the new owners just as wonderfully as you supported me. It will mean the world to them, and it will be the perfect way to ensure The Tan Hut continues to thrive as the best sunbed shop for many years to come.

A little farewell… but never really goodbye ❤️

Today we’re saying goodbye to one of our wonderful team members, who has been with us since I took over 4½ years ago.

Over those years, we’ve watched her grow not only as a valued member of our team, but also in confidence and self-belief. She has been a wonderful asset to us, always bringing her own personality, warmth and presence to the workplace.

I know she will be missed greatly—not just by the team, but by so many of our lovely customers who have come to know and love her too.

It’s never easy saying goodbye to someone who has been such a big part of the journey, but we are incredibly proud of how far she has come and excited for whatever the future holds for her.

Thank you for everything you’ve given over the last 4½ years. Your hard work, your growth, the laughs and the memories will always be remembered.

We will miss you more than you know, but we wish you nothing but happiness, success and amazing things for the future. ❤️

No appointment needed. Just rock up and get your tan on.

New tanners to the HUT will need to complete our thorough consultation before we let you loose but don’t worry we will go through everything with you.

So what are you waiting for, pop in on your lunch break or on the way home from work or anytime between 21-7 Tuesday- Thursday, 10-2 Friday, 10-4 Saturday and Sunday 10-1.
