8 years of Studio AR 🎂

With so much celebrating recently how could I almost forget that it’s been 8 years since I started my own business!

Anyone who knew me growing up, art and drawing really was an absolute passion. But sadly (even years later since I left school) there really is a lack of help and support with people who want to get into a more creative industry. Meaning so many leave their dreams and passions behind.

Starting as a makeup artist, I then, 8 years ago, decided to take a lash extension course - and didn’t realise how that quick decision would change the trajectory of my life!

From building my own studio space, winning awards, being fully booked, becoming an educator, to being contacted by the largest lash brand in the UK directly asking to work with me, and still working with them years later. 🥹

Every year I genuinely struggle to see how my business will continue to change and flourish, and every year I surprise myself. 🫶🏻

Whether you’re a new or long-term client, a student of mine, or anyone who’s ever supported and interacted with Studio AR - this is such a huge thank you I can’t put into words. The inspo photos you’re saving? I love them. But I want to be honest with you about something.

A lash lift is still a lash lift, and as much as I wish I could give every single client those jaw-dropping results you’re seeing online, what I can actually achieve depends entirely on what we’re working with. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Eye shape, eye depth, eyelids, all play a huge role. So does your natural lash length, and the size of the shield we can use. I’ve had clients come in where I’ve had to go up three shield sizes over a few months, and the difference in their results was honestly unreal. Not because I changed what I was doing, but because their lashes gave us so much more to work with!!

So if you’re dreaming of a serious lift, here’s my honest advice before you book. Invest in a really good lash serum. (Comment serum below and I’ll message you with my recommendations! 🤫) Commit to it for a few months. Then come and see me. I’ve seen this work firsthand and the results speak for themselves. 🤭

But that’s not to say you won’t get wonderful results with shorter lashes - you absolutely will, but just bear in mind we can only work with your lashes.
