Apparently I’ve been consuming lately 😂 so I thought we could sit down and go through it all together.

I LOVE watching these kind of chatty videos so thought I’d make my own… although apparently I had far too much to say because this is only part one 🫠

A realistic night with my poorly 6 month old 🤍

We knew Honey wasn’t quite herself tonight, so the usual bedtime routine went completely out the window. We skipped the bath, did a quick freshen up, got her cosy and just focused on getting her settled.

Although apparently central London had other ideas… 🚗📣😂

She woke again before I’d even made it to bed, then we were back up around 3am with a very congested, sad little girl who just wanted milk and cuddles.

By 6am Honey was finally back asleep next to me…

Naturally, that’s exactly when the toddler appeared. 😂

Some nights you follow the routine. Some nights you just do whatever gets everyone through until morning.

A little bedtime with my 6 month old 🤍

I normally take you through the whole night with us, wake ups and all 😂 but tonight we’re just doing bedtime.

Nothing groundbreaking, nothing particularly aesthetic… just our little routine at the moment. Bath, fresh PJs, bottle, cuddles and hopefully 🤞🏼 a sleeping baby at the end of it.

I actually love this part of the day. Even when the rest of the house is absolute chaos, it’s our little bit of one-on-one time before she goes down 🥹

Six months already though… HOW?!

Honey’s 6 month health visitor check 🤍

Nothing particularly exciting happened, and I actually think that’s why I wanted to share it.

We had a little chat about how she’s getting on, feeding, development, all the usual things and she was weighed and measured. Apparently we have a big girl 🥹 and I absolutely LOVE that for her. Give me all the chunky baby rolls 🤍

I know appointments like these can sometimes make you overthink everything your baby is or isn’t doing, but ours was honestly just a really relaxed little check in.

And if there is anything you’ve been worrying about, it’s also such a good opportunity to have that conversation and ask the questions that have been sitting in your head.

Every baby develops differently and this was just our experience with Honey at 6 months 🤍
