These are just two pots of flowers outside my salon, but they’ve brought so much happiness to people. Every day I see little children gently smelling the flowers, parents taking photos, older ladies stopping to admire them, and people with special needs smiling as they look at them. Nobody damages them—they simply enjoy them.

It reminds me that sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference. A few flowers can brighten someone’s day, encourage people to slow down for a moment, and make our streets feel more welcoming.

I wish more businesses would put flowers outside their shops. Imagine how much brighter and happier our high streets could be if every shop added a little bit of colour and kindness.
