Even with nine years of experience in the field of aesthetics, people still struggle to believe me when I tell them this 👆🏽
Which one are you most surprised by?
Crepey skin on the arms is usually a collagen problem before it’s a moisturiser problem.
That thin, crinkled texture tends to develop because several things are happening at once: collagen and elastin are declining, the skin is becoming thinner, there may be some loss of underlying volume, and years of UV exposure can accelerate the process. Hormonal changes can add to it too.
That’s why body lotion alone often doesn’t get you very far.
The most useful approach is usually layered:
• Daily SPF to help slow further collagen breakdown
• Consistent body skincare to improve hydration and support texture
• Retinoids where appropriate to help encourage cell turnover and collagen support
• Radiofrequency, microneedling or laser treatments when we need to work more deeply
• Collagen-stimulating injectables for selected patients where the skin needs more structural support
The right option depends on whether the main issue is thinning skin, laxity, sun damage, loss of volume, or a combination of all four.
If crepey upper arms are something you’re starting to notice, send me a message or book a consultation via the link in my bio, and we can work out what’s actually driving it 💌

Jowls are one of the most common concerns I see in clinic and also one of the most misunderstood when it comes to treatment. Most people assume surgery is the only real option. It isn't, but the non-surgical approach only works when you understand what is actually causing the problem.
The short version: jowls are largely a consequence of what has happened higher up the face. When midface volume is lost, soft tissue that was once supported begins to descend and collect along the jawline. This means treating the jowl directly, while ignoring the structural changes above it, will only ever get you so far.
This post breaks down exactly what works and what doesn't, with honest ratings on everything from midface filler and biostimulators to gua sha and facial exercises. Including a couple of scores that might surprise you 👉🏽
If your jawline has been bothering you and you want to understand what approach would actually make a difference for your face specifically, come in for a proper assessment.

The best SPF isn’t necessarily the most expensive one. It’s the one you actually enjoy wearing every single day.
Texture, tint, hydration, how it sits under makeup and how your skin feels by lunchtime all matter, because an SPF that lives in a drawer isn’t protecting anything.
If you like a little coverage, a tinted formula can make daily SPF feel much easier to wear. If you hate the feel of traditional sunscreen, a lightweight gel or moisturiser-style texture can be a much better fit. If your skin is breakout-prone, that matters too.
The important thing is finding something that suits your skin well enough that applying it becomes automatic, not something you only remember on sunny days or holidays.
If you’re not sure which SPF would work best for your skin type and routine, send me a message and I can help you choose the right one for you 💌

If your skin has started to feel or look different in your 40s and you can't quite put your finger on why, this is for you 👆🏽
Julaine is the treatment I recommend more than any other to patients at this stage of life, because it works with what is actually happening biologically rather than just masking it.
As it stimulates your skin's own collagen and elastin production from within, the results build gradually in a way that looks completely natural and lasts significantly longer than conventional filler.
Firmer skin, improved definition around the jaw and cheeks, better texture and quality, softer fine lines and crepiness. And unlike treatments that peak immediately and then diminish, Julaine results continue to improve for three to four months after treatment as collagen remodelling progresses. ✨
If skin laxity, firmness or overall skin quality is something you've been thinking about, this is a conversation worth having.

Juläine is one of those treatments that makes sense if you want to look fresher without adding obvious volume or changing your face shape.
It’s a PLLA collagen biostimulator, which means it works by encouraging your skin to produce more of its own collagen over time. Rather than an instant “filled” result, the changes develop gradually, helping to improve support, skin quality and areas where you may be starting to notice lines or a loss of firmness.
It can be particularly useful around areas such as the nasolabial folds and accordion lines, but I wouldn’t recommend it based on one concern alone. Your anatomy, skin quality, degree of volume loss and what you actually want to achieve all need to be considered first.
If you’re curious about Juläine and whether it could fit into your treatment plan, book a consultation with me at Corium Clinic, and we can talk it through properly. Tap the link in my bio or send me a message to get started 💌

Not every clinic is the right fit for every patient.
The patients who tend to get the most from coming to me are the ones who want a straight answer about what their skin actually needs, not a treatment pushed at them. The ones who are tired of looking exhausted despite feeling absolutely fine. The ones who want results that look like a better version of themselves, not something obviously done.
Whether you're in your 30s thinking about prevention, in your 40s noticing things have quietly shifted, or in your 50s and ready to take a more considered approach to your skin, there is a plan that makes sense for where you are right now. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want. That's what the consultation is for.
As an Independent Nurse Prescriber with a background in emergency medicine and pain management in the NHS, the clinical knowledge and accountability I bring to every appointment go well beyond a cosmetic qualification. You deserve to know who is treating you and what they are responsible for. ✨
A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment.

This is what HArmonyCa can do for the lower face, and it is one of the results I find most satisfying to share because it addresses something so many women in their 40s and 50s feel but struggle to articulate. 🌿
The jowling, the softening along the jaw, the loss of that clean definition that used to just be there. It happens gradually as volume depletes, ligaments weaken, and the fat pads that once supported the lower face begin to descend. By the time most people notice it, the structural changes driving it have been underway for years.
What makes HArmonyCa particularly well suited to this concern is that it works on two levels simultaneously. The hyaluronic acid component provides an immediate improvement in structure and support, while the calcium hydroxyapatite stimulates the skin's own collagen production over the following weeks and months. The result is not just a temporary fix but a genuine biological improvement in the firmness and density of the tissue itself.
For this patient, restoring support and definition to the lower face made a significant difference to the overall balance of her appearance. The jawline is cleaner, the jowling has reduced, and the skin sits better, all without anything looking treated or obvious ✨
If you have been thinking about your lower face, come in for a proper assessment, and we will work out the approach that makes sense for you.

The biggest myth I hear about filler, week in and week out, is that it will make you look fake.
I completely understand why people believe it. Social media is full of the extremes, the overfilled, obvious results that get all the attention, and it’s easy to assume that’s just what filler does. But those results don’t represent good work at all. They happen when it’s overdone.
Done properly, filler is subtle, balanced and enhancing rather than changing. It was never about creating a new face. It’s about restoring what’s naturally yours and softening what time has gradually taken, working with your features instead of against them. The whole aim is that nobody can tell you’ve had anything done. They simply see someone who looks refreshed and well.
That’s always the goal, and it’s exactly why a proper consultation matters so much. It’s the conversation where we work out what would genuinely suit you, and where you can raise every concern you have about looking overdone.
If that worry has been holding you back, send me a message, and I’ll talk you through it, or head to the link in my bio to book a consultation at Corium Clinic 💌

You've probably noticed my page doesn't look like most aesthetic clinics'.
There's a reason for that, and it isn't that I haven't got results worth showing. It's a decision I made deliberately about how I want patients to choose treatments and what I think an aesthetics account should actually be for.
It also comes down to what a patient hands over when they sit in my chair, which is a good deal more personal than the industry tends to acknowledge.
The truth is, you're not choosing a photo. You're choosing a person to trust with your face, and what counts is their training, their honesty, and how they'd handle it if something wasn't quite right.
If you'd rather understand the right approach for your face than replicate someone else's, DM the word READY or book a consultation through the link in my bio.
