Earlier this month, residents gathered in the Auriens Chelsea library to welcome opera singers from Opera Prelude for an enchanting recital of 'So This Is Love?'
London-born mezzo-soprano Clover Kayne, praised for her warm and expressive tone, performed a carefully curated programme of opera and song, accompanied by pianist Joe Cavalli-Price, founder of Music in Hospices and a passionate advocate for the role of music in wellbeing.

Lynne’s remarkable career is a testament to her dedication and artistry. Over 35 years, she performed internationally - including 12 seasons with Hamburg Ballet - before moving into teaching with companies such as English National Ballet, Hamburg Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet, as well as their affiliated schools. A memorable evening at Auriens Chelsea, as students from English National Ballet School, under the direction of Artistic Director Lynne Charles, brought Tchaikovsky’s world to life through movement and music.
This special performance marked the beginning of an ongoing partnership. Auriens is supporting a first-year student throughout their three-year training programme. As part of this journey, residents have already begun attending rehearsals, masterclasses, and performances.

The apartment features a bespoke kitchen designed in collaboration with , complete with integrated Miele appliances, and high-quality materials throughout the home, including Italian book-matched marble, smoked oak flooring, and triple-glazed windows.
The design also incorporates thoughtful, future-proof features to support long-term comfort and convenience. These include a top-loading drawer dishwasher, motorised lowerable kitchen cabinets for easier access, reinforced walls to allow grab rails to be installed if required, and shower enclosures that can be adapted to create a wet room.

We were delighted to recently host Alan Russell of Russell Simpson at Auriens Chelsea. During his visit, Alan put his artistic skills to the test during one of our art classes, held in our light-filled studio spaces.
Art sessions form part of our wider calendar of immersive weekly activities and events for residents - for those with a long-standing passion for the arts, as well as those keen to explore new creative pursuits, and community gatherings.
