First thank you all for the love on my first post about the hair tips I found worked during my egg donation.
Here is pt 2. And this is all about the external products I’ve found helpful.
Re:Balance duo plus the Purify:Scalp cleanse has been my life saver. Extra hormones meant my scalp needed extra love and these products really gave me that. Leaving my scalp fresh and rejuvenated so I had one less thing to worry about.

When dealing with hormonal changes you can have hair and scalp issues. So here are some of my go to products that have helped me-
of course this is just a daily necessity at this point. But honestly Glowwa has been my life saver during these 4 rounds.

Future IQ. I’m really looking forward to using this new product with its ground breaking technology. It came out at the perfect time. Just as I finished my last round and my hormones are finally evening out.

Creating Ice Cubed Colour 🧊
Stripping it right back for this creative adventure. One colour, two ice cubes. Playing them straight down the middle. They melted incredible, giving us such a deep rich tone bleeding out into the burnt orange tones. Definitely one I’ll play with again.

I took the summer off.
After 3 of the most intense years of my career: crazy travel, teaching, shooting, seminars ➡️ opening a business ➡️ being president ➕ 4 rounds of egg donation. It was time to give my body, mind and soul a break.
After I stepped down from President in June I took the rest of the summer off. Looking after my clients and accepting jobs that wouldn’t take me too far from home (because a girls got rent to pay) but primarily resting.
Growing plants, harvesting food in my garden, looking after my boys, eating great food, actually seeing friends and watching every single teen romance show going 😂
I can’t remember the last time I took time off to breathe and recoup. It was bliss.
I learned a phrase a while back:
“An arrow has to be pulled back to shoot forward”
And it comes back to me in these moments. To pull back before the next chapter was exactly what was needed.

I can’t believe tomorrow will be one month until Creative HEAD Magazine Most Wanted awards. I’m still so blown away to be nominated for Influence.
I love these awards so much because they’ve always been based on what you’ve done in the last year as a 360. You’re not doing a shoot for a specific award, or doing anything you wouldn’t be creating anyway. It’s a true celebration of our industry and the work that goes into it.
I love putting my entries together and seeing the work I’ve accomplished in that year. Having not entered since winning colour expert, I really enjoyed being back doing the process. Here’s a few pages from my entry this year.
Thank you again to those who nominated me. You made my year. And thank you to everyone that’s contributed to the last year of my career. I hope I honoured you all in my entry. Can’t wait to party with you all in a months time.
