A bit of poetry for a drizzly Saturday afternoon.
"The White Flower"
The flower opens,
a hush of white silk unfurling around me.
I step inside her quiet bloom,
each petal brushing my skin
like whispers too tender to name.

I move closer,
and the air thickens—
her perfume drifting like smoke,
sweet, narcotic,
already weaving itself into me.
She does not reach for me,
she does not need to.
Her presence alone is enough
to draw me under.

When her petals touch my skin,
it is not softness alone—
it is possession disguised in silk.
The graze along my arm
feels like a statement,
the brush at my thigh
a reminder of who holds the rhythm here.

Inside her bloom,
light scatters,
white upon white,
until I can no longer tell
if it is she who surrounds me,
or I who have stepped into her body.
Her fragrance clings,
cloying, dizzying,
every breath a surrender
that feels less like choice
and more like inevitability.

She does not yield.
She enfolds.
She does not wait.
She knows.

And as her petals close,
as I sink deeper into her embrace,
I am not the one who has found her—
she is the one who has claimed me.
