Small detail, but it matters ✨

I don’t share these photos often, but they are a big part of why I work with skin the way I do today.
At 18 I had stage 4 nodular acne. I went through Roaccutane twice, and even though my skin looks very different now, it is still oily, prone to congestion and very sensitive.
Some of what acne left behind is still visible in my skin today.
I think going through it myself taught me one of the most important things about skin: stronger is not always better, and there is usually much more behind someone’s skin than what you can see at first glance.
What I value most about my work is the connection with my clients.
It starts before the treatment- preparing the room, gathering my thoughts and getting ready for our time together.
Then I listen, we decide what you need most, and I focus on that during your treatment.
And afterwards, the care continues at home with a plan made around you. 🤍
I always start Kobido with the scalp 🤍
We hold so much tension here without even realising it. Releasing the scalp and temples first helps the whole face soften before I move into the deeper Kobido work.
And honestly… it feels incredible.
