May & June have been full on.

I had the privilege of pulling on the England shirt for the third time on the boats and was incredibly proud to come away as top English rod, winning the Grafham Trophy.

After a disappointing result at Grafham, it was good to bounce back and qualify for this year’s National Final at Chew in September.

Away from fishing, it’s been plenty of work, training, bike rides, ice creams and making the most of summer with my little man.

The back injury is still hanging around, but it’s teaching me a lesson I probably needed. Instead of pushing until something breaks, I’m learning to train around it, appreciate what I can do, and play the long game.

Grateful for a busy couple of months. On to the next. 🇬🇧🎣💪
