✨ PLASMA FIBROBLAST SEASON IS HERE ✨
The colder months are one of the best times to consider treatments that need a little extra thought around healing and sun exposure. Plasma fibroblast is one of them.
Plasma fibroblast creates controlled micro-injuries to the skin, triggering a natural healing response while encouraging collagen and elastin remodelling. It can be used to target loose skin, fine lines, wrinkles or loss of firmness.
One of the biggest reasons we prefer performing this treatment during the colder months is reduced sun exposure. Your skin is particularly sensitive while healing, so protecting the treated area from UV exposure is essential to help minimise the risk of pigmentation changes.
You’ll also need to allow for downtime. Small carbon crusts form over the treatment points and must be allowed to shed naturally. Redness, swelling and sensitivity can occur, so winter can make planning around the healing process that little bit easier.
We can target areas including hooded eyelids, under-eyes, crow’s feet, upper lip lines, loose skin around the mouth, neck, décolletage and areas of loose abdominal skin.
The changes don’t stop once the initial healing is complete. Collagen and elastin remodelling continues over the following weeks and months, meaning your results can continue to develop gradually.
