What if a lift didn’t mean surgery? ✨

Endolift is changing the conversation around facial and body contouring.

It combines laser energy with micro-cannula precision to stimulate collagen and elastin, tighten skin and remodel localised fat without traditional liposuction.

From jawlines and jowls to double chins, necks, cheeks and selected body areas, Endolift is being offered across London by clinics with very different approaches, technologies and treatment plans.

And here’s the important part: it’s not a one-size-fits-all treatment.

So how do London’s Endolift clinics actually compare?

We’ve looked at the clinics, the treatments and what makes each approach different.

We have a dormant third set of teeth 🦷✨ Dr Matin Ahmadi tells host Gabrielle Richens about the research behind tooth regeneration, including micro-needling patches and enamel gels being studied in the UK and Sweden.

A protein called USAG1 is what's blocking it and scientists are now trying to block that protein instead. Mice trials succeeded, human trials have begun, and commercialisation is hoped for by 2030 👀

Laser skin treatments have relied on
heat as their mechanism for 30 years.
The logic: controlled thermal damage
triggers healing, which produces new
collagen and resurfaces the skin.

It works. But the heat also means
downtime redness, peeling, sensitivity,
and for many people, a week off the market.

Cool Laser takes a different approach.

It's an Er:YAG laser operating at 2940nm
a wavelength with exceptionally high
absorption in water. Rather than generating
intense heat, it targets water within the
skin tissue directly, removing damaged
cells in ultra-thin layers with minimal
thermal diffusion into the surrounding skin.

The practical result: the same indications
as traditional resurfacing fine lines,
acne scarring, pigmentation, sun damage,
enlarged pores with significantly
reduced recovery time.

As one expert quoted in our article puts
it: ""Technologies with reduced downtime
are reshaping patient expectations.""

Worth reading if you've been considering
laser treatment but kept putting it off
because of the recovery. Full article

Who should be allowed to call themselves an aesthetic practitioner?

Is it anyone who performs aesthetic treatments? Or should the title be reserved for qualified healthcare professionals with the education and training to practise safely?

In this episode of the Aesthetics Today Podcast, Flavio Refrigeri shares why he believes proper clinical training matters, and why completing a short course alone shouldn’t be enough.

It's a multi billion dollar industry.
Everyone's trying to make their buck.

Absolutely.

But at whose cost?

Check out our latest episode where Gabrielle Richens speaks to Dr Zunaid Alli from Edition Clinic.

Most microneedling cartridges go blunt after 60 seconds. And a blunt needle doesn't puncture the skin; it drags across it.

We stopped at the Dermapen World stand at AM London 2026 and this was one of the most eye-opening conversations we had on the floor.

Dermapen operates at 1,920 punctures per second. The average competitor? Around 7,000 per minute. More punctures means better collagen induction and surprisingly, less pain.

Not all microneedling is equal. And now you know why.

London's had a glorious week and if you've been outside enjoying it (as you absolutely should), this article is for you.

Sun exposure is the single biggest cause of premature ageing: fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, and loss of skin firmness are all largely caused by UV damage. And the tricky part is that most of it is invisible at the time. You only see the bill later.

The good news is that several treatments can meaningfully reverse sun damage, not just mask it. Our article covers four of the most effective:

→ Fraxel® — fractional laser treatment targeting pigmentation, lines, and sun damage. Recommended as a course of 5.

→ Microdermabrasion — gentle crystal exfoliation that works on all skin types and addresses sun damage, dehydration, and fine lines.

→ Dermalux™ LED Phototherapy — uses light to stimulate the skin's own repair process, reversing redness and uneven tone.

→ Ultherapy — ultrasound energy that triggers collagen production and firms the skin non-surgically.

Not ready for a clinic visit? The article also covers three things you can start today; none of which cost anything.

Finland invented the sauna. Turns out that was just the warm-up. 🧊🔴

CTN.FI is a Finnish wellness tech company building the full recovery stack:cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red-light therapy, electromagnetic muscle stimulation, and more.

They're in 40+ countries. They work with elite sports organisations, physiotherapy clinics,
wellness centres, and everyday people who've decided that recovery deserves the same seriousness as training.

The question they're asking is the right one: why do we treat recovery as an afterthought?

Most practitioners won't admit this about their own training.

Dr Zunaid Alli, founder of Edition Clinic, UCL-trained aesthetic physician and international KOL, has spent over a decade not just practising, but shaping the next generation of injectors. And his message is refreshingly honest.

The full episode, hosted by Gabrielle Richens, is one you won't want to skip. We go deep on regenerative aesthetics, patient psychology, industry regulation, polynucleotides, and what it actually takes to build a clinic that lasts.
