Deep Facial Cleansing: why professional treatment matters?

When extractions are performed incorrectly or with excessive pressure, they can cause inflammation, skin trauma, post-inflammatory pigmentation and, in some cases, scarring! ⚠️

At MSG, the treatment is performed according to the skin’s condition and needs, with professional techniques to safely decongest pores, remove excess sebum and dead skin build-up while preserving the skin barrier.

It can also be an important step before certain aesthetic treatments, helping ensure the skin is clean, balanced and properly prepared.

How does a Skin Booster actually work on the neck?

Unlike traditional filler, the goal here isn’t to add volume or change the shape of the neck. It’s to improve the quality of the skin itself.

Skin boosters use small amounts of injectable product, often based on hyaluronic acid, distributed across specific areas of the skin. Rather than creating projection, the treatment focuses on improving hydration, elasticity, texture and the appearance of fine lines!

Think of it less as “filling the lines” and more as improving the skin where those lines are forming.

This can be particularly useful on the neck, where we commonly see thinner skin, crepiness, dehydration and horizontal lines.

But there’s an important distinction: not every neck line is a skin-quality problem. Deeper folds, significant laxity, muscle activity or loss of structural support may require a different approach or a combination of treatments.

That’s why we don’t simply treat the line we see. We assess why it’s there first.

👉🏽 Skin quality first. Always.

Anti-ageing doesn’t have to start when there’s already something to correct!

Preventative aesthetics is about maintaining skin quality, collagen, hydration and healthy cellular renewal as your skin changes over time and there are different ways we can approach it.

At MSG Wellness & Aesthetics | London , some of our preventative and skin-focused treatments include:

→ Skin Boosters: for deeper hydration and overall skin quality.

→ Polynucleotides & PDRN: regenerative treatments focused on skin repair, elasticity and tissue quality.

→ Collagen Biostimulators: to support your skin’s own collagen production over time.

→ Microneedling: for collagen stimulation, texture, pores and fine lines.

→ BioRePeel & Professional Peels: to support cellular renewal and improve tone, texture and pigmentation.

→ Mesotherapy: for targeted delivery of skin-supporting ingredients according to individual concerns.

→ Anti-Wrinkle Injections: when appropriate, to reduce repetitive muscle activity and help prevent dynamic lines from becoming more established.

You don’t need all of them and you certainly don’t need to wait until you feel your skin has “aged” to start looking after it!

The best preventative plan is the one designed around what your skin needs now, while considering how we want it to age in the future.

Which one is right for you? That’s what the consultation is for. Book now MSG Wellness & Aesthetics | London 🤍

Not every under-eye hollow needs filler and treating them all the same can actually make the area look worse!

What we perceive as “hollowness” or tired-looking eyes can have very different causes: true volume loss, bone structure, thin skin, pigmentation, vascular show-through, fluid retention, fat pads, or a combination of these factors.

And each cause requires a different approach.

✨ True volume deficiency? Filler may be appropriate in carefully selected patients.

✨ Poor skin quality or very thin skin? Regenerative treatments such as PRP or polynucleotides may be a better option.

✨ Pigmentation? Adding volume won’t correct the colour!

✨ Puffiness or prominent eye bags? Filler can sometimes attract water and make the area appear heavier rather than better.

This is why I don’t believe in treating the under-eye based on one symptom alone.

Sometimes that means filler. Sometimes skin treatments. Sometimes a combination. And sometimes, the best decision is not to inject at all.

Book your consultation now and let’s tailor a treatment just for you ✨

This is what properly cleansed skin looks like ✨

Deep facial cleansing goes beyond what your daily skincare can achieve at home!

The treatment works by deeply cleansing the pores, removing accumulated sebum, dead skin cells and impurities, while carefully extracting blackheads and congestion.

👉🏽Less congestion, smoother texture, more refined-looking pores and skin that feels noticeably cleaner and fresher!

And although the immediate glow is always a plus, the real benefit is maintaining a healthier environment for your skin, especially if you struggle with blackheads, excess oil, clogged pores or uneven texture.

Think of it as maintenance, not a one-time fix. Your skin still needs consistency between appointments. Good skin starts with clean skin.

Are you losing hair due to stress, hormonal changes, postpartum shedding, genetics or nutritional deficiencies?

Hair loss doesn’t always start with obvious bald patches. Sometimes, the first signs are much more subtle:

• More hair coming out in the shower or on your brush
• A widening part
• Reduced density around the hairline
• Thinner, weaker strands
• Your ponytail feeling noticeably smaller

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a regenerative treatment that uses a concentrated portion of your own blood, rich in platelets and growth factors, which is injected directly into the scalp.

The goal? To support the hair follicles, improve the environment around them and stimulate healthier, stronger hair growth in patients who are suitable candidates.

But this is important: **PRP is not a treatment for every type of hair loss.**

Understanding *why* you’re losing hair comes first. Hormones, iron levels, stress, genetics, medications and other underlying factors can all play a role and the best results come from treating the cause, not just the symptom.

If you’ve noticed a change in your hair density or increased shedding, book a consultation so we can assess whether PRP could be part of the right treatment plan for you:

Forehead BTox it’s about controlling how the muscle moves 💉

The horizontal lines we see across the forehead are created by repeated contraction of the frontalis muscle: the muscle responsible for elevating the brows.

With a carefully planned BTox treatment, we can reduce excessive contraction, soften existing dynamic lines and help prevent them from becoming deeper and more established over time.

But forehead BTox requires precision. Too much relaxation, or treating the wrong areas can affect brow position and leave the eyes feeling heavier.

The goal is not a completely motionless forehead. It’s strategic muscle relaxation while maintaining balance, brow support and natural expression.

This is why BTox should never be approached as simply “a number of units.” Anatomy, muscle strength and your individual movement pattern matter. Natural results start with understanding the face before treating it.

5 Things you should know about your lip augmentation 👇🏽

1️⃣ Lip filler is temporary, but there’s no exact expiration date: most hyaluronic acid fillers are expected to last around 6–12 months in the lips, but longevity varies significantly depending on the product used, amount injected, anatomy, metabolism and previous treatments. Some residual product may remain for longer.

2️⃣ Swelling is NOT your final result: The first few days can include swelling, tenderness, bruising and even temporary asymmetry. We normally need to allow the tissue and product to settle before properly assessing the result.

3️⃣ More frequent top-ups don’t necessarily mean better lips: Adding product before reassessing what is already present can contribute to unnecessary volume, distortion or migration. Maintenance should be based on assessment and not simply on a calendar.

4️⃣ Aftercare matters, but you can’t “make” filler last forever: Follow your injector’s aftercare instructions, avoid unnecessary pressure or manipulation while the area is healing, and don’t rush into another treatment because the initial swelling has disappeared.
Healthy skin, hydration and good lifestyle habits can support the overall appearance of your lips, but your body will naturally metabolise hyaluronic acid over time.

5️⃣ Lip filler isn’t suitable for everyone, at every moment: Active infection, cold sores or inflammation around the treatment area are reasons to postpone treatment. Pregnancy/breastfeeding, certain medical conditions, medications and previous reactions should always be discussed during your consultation.

And one more thing: tell your practitioner if you have a history of cold sores. Lip injections can trigger a recurrence, and some patients may need preventative antiviral treatment.
