Hearing you speak about how wider recognition came in your 50s, after years of work and building behind the scenes, was such a powerful reminder that there is no single timeline for success. Sometimes, the world only begins to see what you have spent years preparing for.
I was delighted to meet you in person, and your warmth and welcoming spirit made the experience even more memorable. I do not take the opportunity for granted.
To every mother, wife and woman reading this, please do not abandon your dreams because life has become busy. Motherhood is beautiful, but so are the gifts, ideas and purposes God has placed within you.
You may have to start small, take a different route or move at a slower pace, but keep going. Do not measure your journey by someone else’s timeline. The work you are doing today, even when nobody sees it, may be laying the foundation for something beautiful tomorrow.
You are not too old. You are not too late. And your story is not over. There is still room for you to grow, build, create and become. 🩵
