A look back at our derma-focused evening at Ambra Aesthetic Clinic in North Finchley, North London ✨

Guests joined us for a relaxed night with a live Polynucleotides demonstration and a first look at the latest technology from Rexonage3. We’ve been using Plinest at the clinic for almost four years, and we love sharing what Polynucleotides can do for skin collagen.

One of our guests had her first-ever facial with Rexonage3 on the night. Her words: she felt really refreshed, with a glow, and relaxed.

Thank you to everyone who came along. Follow us to hear about our next event, and book a consultation if you’d like to find out which treatment suits your skin.

A new era of skin tightening has arrived at Ambra Aesthetic Clinic in North Finchley, North London. Meet XERF 👇

XERF works with two frequencies, so we can treat the skin and its deeper support layers in the same session. It uses controlled heat to encourage your own collagen renewal, supporting firmer skin and more defined contours. There are no needles and no added volume.

Early firmness changes may appear after treatment. Then collagen renewal can bring further improvements over the following weeks and months. Results vary from person to person, which is why every plan starts with a consultation.

Swipe through to see how it works, and book in to find out what XERF could do for you.

Pigmentation and dark spots: which treatments actually work?

We put some of the most popular options into a tier list, from the ones to avoid to the ones we genuinely recommend.

F tier: Lemon juice. It’s a common home remedy, but it can irritate your skin and make things worse.
F tier: Beef tallow. It may be all over social media, but it isn’t a pigmentation treatment.
S tier: Vitamin C serum. It’s superb for pigmentation.
S tier: Daily SPF 50. It’s an absolute must.
S tier: Cosmelan. It’s a fantastic in-clinic treatment for pigmentation and melasma.
A tier: Laser. It’s a great option, especially in the winter months.

If you’re dealing with hyperpigmentation, the foundation is a really good skincare routine. That should include L-ascorbic acid, the active ingredient in vitamin C serum, followed by SPF every day. That means 365 days a year, whatever the weather.

If you don’t know where to start, book a consultation with us. We’ll look at your skin and guide you through your pigmentation journey.

Which skin concern should we rank next? Let us know in the comments.

“My face hasn’t changed much, but my jawline just isn’t as defined.” 💬 It’s one of the most common things we hear at Ambra.

Often it’s a little softness around the jowls, or looser skin beneath the chin. XERF is one of the treatments we can consider for mild to moderate skin laxity. It uses monopolar radiofrequency energy to warm the tissue beneath the surface and encourage collagen production, with the aim of a gradual improvement in firmness and definition.

Assessment matters, though. A softer jawline can come from loose skin, changes in facial volume, or a combination of factors. XERF won’t address every concern, and it isn’t a replacement for a surgical facelift.

That’s why we start with a proper assessment, and we’ll explain which treatment path is best for you.

October: XERF, Polynucleotides, laser, or a course of Cosmelan if you’re dealing with deep pigmentation and sun-damaged skin after the summer months.

December, the week before a party: a HydraFacial or a Korean Glass Facial for that fresh, polished finish.

Live from Rome, where Jalupro was born 🇮🇹

I'm here at the Jalupro Global Summit, The Regenerative Shift, as a Key Opinion Leader and faculty member. Today is day two, and it's been packed with research, talks from leading international speakers, and so many conversations with doctors from all over the world.

Regenerative medicine is changing the way we treat skin, and it's already shaping how we work at Ambra. Rather than simply covering things up, it's about helping your skin repair and renew itself.

My promise to you is simple: I only bring back treatments that are backed by evidence.

Flying home tomorrow with a notebook full of ideas, so watch this space for what's coming to the clinic ✨

XERF vs Morpheus8: what’s the difference? 🤔

At Ambra Aesthetic Clinic in North Finchley, North London, these are two of the treatments we get asked about the most, and they work in completely different ways.

Morpheus8 uses fine needles combined with radiofrequency. It’s brilliant for improving skin texture, acne scarring, firmness and overall rejuvenation. You’ll need a few sessions, and there’s around two to three days of downtime.

XERF, on the other hand, uses no needles at all. It works with two radiofrequencies to warm the deeper layers of the skin, giving a firmer, more lifted look with very little downtime.

So how do you choose? If texture or acne scarring is your main concern, Morpheus8 is likely your answer. If you want firmer, lifted skin without needles or discomfort, XERF could be the better option. And if keeping volume in your face matters to you, that’s factored into your treatment plan too.

Every plan starts with a consultation, where we look at your skin, your face and your goals, so we can recommend the right treatment (or combination) for you.

Why Allison chose polynucleotides over filler under her eyes

Allison is 52 and has dealt with water retention for years, which meant filler under the eyes was never the right option for her. Looking in the mirror, what she noticed most was dark circles and a bit of puffiness, rather than lost volume.

As she’s got older, Allison says her approach to her skin has changed too. Rather than reaching for anything drastic, she prefers facials and hydration-focused treatments, which is what led her to polynucleotides at Ambra Aesthetic Clinic.

Polynucleotides work differently to filler. Instead of adding volume, they help repair and hydrate the skin from within, improving texture and tone over time. Allison says the improvement usually takes a couple of weeks to show, but once it does, it’s dramatic. The skin under her eyes looks visibly more hydrated, and people around her have noticed the difference and started asking what she’s been doing.

Allison has been a client at Ambra Aesthetic Clinic for many years, and says her skin has never looked better. If you’ve been put off filler for similar reasons, polynucleotides might be the gentler alternative worth discussing at your next consultation.
