Juliet laser for vaginal rejuvenation — intimate health treatment explained

Vaginal dryness, discomfort during intimacy and changes to vaginal tissue following menopause or childbirth are among the most common concerns women quietly manage — often for years — without knowing a clinical treatment exists. These are changes in tissue that can be addressed without surgery and without hormones.

The Juliet laser uses Er:YAG laser technology to stimulate collagen production in the vaginal tissue. The tissue regenerates naturally from within — improving hydration, comfort and laxity progressively over a course of treatments.

It may be suitable for:
— Vaginal dryness and discomfort during intimacy
— Post-menopausal intimate health changes
— Post-childbirth tissue changes
— Mild stress urinary incontinence
No surgery. No hormones. Lesser downtime.

All consultations at Chiswick Clinic are completely confidential. A consultation is required to assess suitability — treatment is not appropriate for everyone and a clinical assessment determines the right approach for each patient.

Do you avoid handshakes because of sweaty hands?

Excessive hand sweating — known medically as palmar hyperhidrosis — is a recognised medical condition. It is not a hygiene issue. It is not anxiety. It is overactivity of the sweat glands, and it affects daily life more than most people around you realise.

Most people who have it manage it quietly for years without knowing it can be clinically treated.

If this sounds familiar — a consultation maybe the right starting point. Suitability for treatment depends on a clinical assessment.

Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation — PIH is one of the most common skin concerns.

It can be slow to respond, and the right treatment depends on the skin type and the cause.
A dermatologist may recommend working through a structured protocol:

SPF 50+ broad-spectrum, daily UVA, UVB and visible light all stimulate melanin production. A tinted formula with iron oxides offers the most complete protection for deeper skin tones. Without this, other treatments work against the skin’s daily exposure.

Retinoid Prescription-strength retinoids accelerate cell turnover and help clear pigmentation more effectively than over-the-counter retinol. Suitability and strength need to be assessed by a dermatologist — using the wrong concentration can compromise the skin barrier.

Azelaic acid Inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for excess melanin production.

Laser - The QuadroStar PRO Yellow laser uses a 577nm wavelength specifically absorbed by melanin and haemoglobin. This allows it to target pigmentation and blood vessels precisely without affecting the surrounding tissue.

A consultation with a dermatologist is the right starting point before beginning any of the above — rather than guessing or risking further damage to the skin barrier.

A mole check can sometimes be the appointment someone keeps putting off.

In this video, Dr Bela shares why it is so important not to ignore a mole that has changed, looks unusual, or simply feels different to you.

One patient had delayed getting a mole checked for years. When he came in, it was diagnosed as melanoma. In another case, something looked worrying but turned out not to be melanoma — which is exactly why expert assessment matters.

Not every changing mole is skin cancer. But every concerning mole deserves to be checked properly.

At Chiswick Clinic, mole checks are carried out with careful assessment and clear advice on next steps.

If you have noticed a new mole, a changing mole, an unusual mark, or something that does not look right, please do not wait.

Can one laser session treat rosacea, pigmentation AND fine lines at the same time?

At Chiswick Clinic, yes.

As skin changes with age, concerns like redness, rosacea, broken capillaries, pigmentation, and uneven texture often appear together — and rarely respond to a one-size-fits-all approach.

At Chiswick Clinic in West London, we combine 2 clinically advanced Asclepion laser technologies to treat multiple concerns in a single personalised treatment plan.

QuadroStar PRO Yellow Laser — targets redness, rosacea, thread veins, pigmentation and sun damage by selectively targeting haemoglobin and melanin beneath the skin surface.

Erbium:YAG Laser — improves skin texture, fine lines, wrinkles and overall skin quality through precise collagen stimulation and controlled resurfacing.

Combining both means we can address vascular and pigmentation concerns alongside texture and ageing — in one consultation & with one personalised plan.

The truth about acne scarring treatments.

If you have acne scarring, no amount of microneedling, chemical peels or facials will fully clear it. They are wonderful for maintaining healthy skin — but they cannot reach the deeper dermal damage that scarring causes.

The correct approach for acne scar removal is laser first. Medical-grade laser treatment restructures the skin from within, delivering results that surface treatments simply cannot. Once you have achieved those results, you then layer in your maintenance treatments to keep them. That is the order that actually works.

If you have been spending money on facials and peels for acne scarring and wondering why nothing is shifting — it is not you. It is the treatment sequence.
At Chiswick Clinic in Chiswick, West London, we use the Asclepion laser — one of the most clinically advanced lasers available for acne scar treatment.

Come and have an honest conversation with us about what is actually possible for your skin. 🔗 Link in bio.

Is at-home microneedling safe?

Microneedling works by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering your body’s own collagen and elastin response. Done correctly, it produces real, lasting improvement in acne scars, skin texture, fine lines, and enlarged pores.

Done incorrectly, those same micro-channels become entry points for bacteria, causing inflammation, infection, and skin barrier damage that takes weeks to repair.

The gap between a professional microneedling treatment and an at-home roller is significant. Clinical devices like the XCELLARIS PRO TWIST Microneedling System used at Chiswick Clinic — reach the deeper dermal layers where collagen production happens. At-home rollers with short, blunt needles typically cannot. And without sterile technique, correct needle depth, and proper aftercare, the risks of at-home microneedling outweigh the results.

If you are considering professional microneedling in London for acne scarring, texture, pigmentation, or skin rejuvenation, start with a consultation. We assess the skin properly before recommending anything.

Can laser cure hyperpigmentation? Not instantly — but yes, gradually over time.

Pigmentation responds differently depending on the type, the depth, and the skin tone. There is no laser that removes it overnight. What the right laser does, used correctly, on the right candidate, with the right pre and aftercare — is trigger a gradual clearing process that produces results that last.

At Chiswick Clinic we use the QuadroStar PRO Yellow laser — one of the most precise and advanced vascular and pigmentation lasers available. The results we see are genuinely significant. But they build over weeks, not days.

If you have been dealing with hyperpigmentation and wondering whether laser is the right route — it starts with a proper skin assessment. Not every pigmentation is the same. Not every laser is the right choice for every skin type.

The right support makes all the difference.

Not all suspicious moles look suspicious. That is what makes them dangerous.

In this video, Dr. Bela shares three real cases where a mole had already been assessed elsewhere and given the all clear. On proper dermoscopic examination, the picture looked different.

Melanoma is not always obvious to the naked eye to confirm or rule it out.
If you suspect a mole has changed, or something about it does not feel right, get it properly examined.

Caught early, melanoma is one of the most treatable cancers. The window to catch it early is something you control.

You do not have to choose between losing fat and building muscle. EMSculpt Neo does both. At the same time. 💪

Whether you actively train or you are just getting started — this is the treatment that takes your body further than effort alone can.

Here is what it actually does:

✦ 24,000 supramaximal muscle contractions per session — reaching deep muscle fibres your workouts cannot voluntarily activate

✦ Reduces fat simultaneously — radiofrequency energy heats and eliminates fat cells through apoptosis, naturally removed by the body over time

✦ Works on abdomen, glutes, arms, thighs and flanks

The equivalent of 12–16 weeks of resistance training in a single 30-minute session. The fat cells eliminated do not come back. The muscle you build is structural — not cosmetic.

30 minutes. No surgery. No downtime. Suitable for men and women.
