You have to double cleanse of you are wearing makeup and/or SPF. Simple wipe down with micellar water is not enough.

I find using orange or peach color corrector sometimes shows through the foundation unless you are using a full coverage foundation. To overcome this use a concealer slightly darker than your skin tone to color correct first, and then use your normal concealer or foundation. This will to cover the discolouration and make your skin look flawless.

It might sound very simple and basic tip but I do see a lot of beauty influencers applying two three pumps of foundation, mixing lot of different products and applying a heavy layer. Use a small amount of foundation and apply everywhere. Only add more if and where you need. These simple tips will make a big difference on how the makeup looks.

Aloe Vera Gel has amazing benefits for skin. I don’t like using heavy moisturizer during summers as I feel I don’t need it and it just sits on the skin. Instead I use aloe vera gel as light moisturizer as it absorbs into skin nicely and leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated. You only need a small pea size amount for your face.

Microfibre Makeup Removing Cloth

Microfibre cloth are amazing at removing makeup without irritating or drying the skin. They come in all kind of different sizes and shapes but the purpose is same, to remove makeup effectively.

You can use it with your makeup removing cleanser or without cleanser. It can be used just with water, wet it, squeeze it, wipe over face. My preferred way is using with balm cleanser to remove all the makeup in one go. .

With Eid around the corner and we all will be doing our eid preparations at home this year. I always like to do facial atleast a day or two before Eid. I am sharing an easy mini facial at home in few steps.

Cleanse - Always start with clean skin.
Steam - It helps to soften the dead skin cells on top. I bought a cheap facial steamer from Amazon and it does the job for me..
Exfoliate - Remove the dead skin. I prefer chemical exfoliation over physical. Currently using The Ordinarys Lactic Acid 10%..
Mask - Give your skin a boost. Use a mask according to your skin needs. Hydration, oil control, brightening..
Skin Care - Always end with serum and moisturizer..

Tea Tree Oil

My goto for spot treatment. I am never without this essential oil. There are lot of benefits of tea tree essential oil but I mostly use it for spot treatment. It works really well on active acne. There are few ingredients for spot treatments like salicylic acid, benzolperoxide but I always go back to tea tree oil.
