SANO is the first hair salon opened by established session hair stylist Takashi Sano. SANO is made up of enthusiastic people who are all involved within the Media, so if they're not in the salon, they're out on shoots ! Our aim at SANO is to offer a high end level of service within a creative environment without excessive pricing.

This year marks 15 years since the boss opened SANO!! To celebrate this huge milestone we have decided to open our doors for a night of music, laughs and fun ❤️

⭐️ HIRING AN ASSISTANT AT SANO ⭐️
We are looking for a new assistant to join the team at SANO 🥳
We are ideally looking someone who is keen to progress their skills and are interested in developing a career in the hair industry but all applicants are encouraged and welcome, must at the very least be keen to learn how to shampoo! ✨
What you’ll be doing ⭐️
- Assisting our team of stylists with the smooth running of the salon, such as general tidying/cleaning, assisting stylists, shampooing and client care (e.g making refreshments etc!) 🫡☕️
- Helping with reception duties (answering the telephone, responding to texts and checking in clients) 📞
- Being fabulous 💅🏻
What we can offer you ⭐️
- Part time employment for 3-4 days per week at national minimum wage
- A place to express yourself and feel safe in the heart of Highbury and Islington 🩷
- Weekly training sessions with experienced stylists & SANO director Taka 💈
- Regular Bumble & Bumble and Wella courses for education and brand awareness
- An inclusive and friendly team to work alongside 🫶🏻
- The chance to progress from assistant to junior stylist after training has completed!

we have exciting news from the salon! 🥳
our two assistants & .jpeg have started their colour training! whilst both technically level 2 qualified, the girls are doing extended sessions in order to prepare for the transition into junior stylists 🎉
training takes place on a monday and they are offering discounted rates whilst they build their portfolio! at this time, unfortunately no current colour clients of the salon please and you must have a valid patch test and consultation with the girls to book.
