NUTRITION MADE SIMPLE: YOUR BODY HAS ITS OWN FUEL TANK. ⛽️⚡️

Your body stores carbohydrates as glycogen, mainly in your muscles and liver.
Think of it as your built-in fuel reserve.

When you train, your body uses that stored glycogen to help power your muscles — especially during longer or more intense sessions.

And here’s the important part:

If you constantly train without replacing what you use, your fuel tank starts to run low.

That can affect your energy, performance and recovery.
So fuelling your training isn’t about eating more for the sake of it.
It’s about giving your body the right fuel for the work you’re asking it to do.
This is Part 4 of my Nutrition Made Simple series.

There’s a bill you can’t avoid forever: the cost of neglecting your health.

You can change your job, your car or your home — but you can’t replace your body.

Your health doesn’t require perfection. It requires consistency, movement, recovery and balance.

Look after your body now, so you can keep enjoying the life you’re building.

Don’t wait for the bill. Start today. 💪

Two people can have the same 24 hours, the same opportunities and the same goals — but make very different choices.

None of these choices seem life-changing in the moment.
But your lifestyle isn’t created by one big decision.

It’s created by the small decisions you make over and over again. And eventually, those choices become your habits.

Your habits become your lifestyle. And your lifestyle shapes how you feel, move, perform and age.

This isn’t about never going out, never eating what you enjoy or always choosing the “perfect” option.

It’s about understanding that every choice has a direction.

You can choose comfort now and deal with the consequences later.

Or you can choose to invest in your future self — one decision at a time.

Don’t wait for Monday.
Build the life you want, one choice at a time.

Muscle isn’t just about looking strong. It’s about staying strong.

As we age, maintaining muscle becomes increasingly important for strength, mobility, balance, metabolism and independence.

Muscle is active tissue. It helps your body use glucose efficiently, supports metabolic health and gives you the physical capacity to keep doing the things you enjoy.

And the good news? You can build and maintain muscle at any age.

Strength training + good nutrition + recovery = a stronger body for life.

Don’t wait until you notice muscle loss to start taking it seriously.

Train for longevity. Move better. Stay independent.

A little fuel earlier is often better than trying to rescue yourself later. ⚡️

When you’re training for longer or harder sessions, waiting until you’re already exhausted to fuel can make things much harder.

Getting enough fuel before and during training can help support your energy levels, performance and ability to keep going.

The goal isn’t to wait until you’re running on empty.

It’s to fuel proactively.

This is Part 3 of my nutrition series, following:

👉 Part 1 — Carbs for Training
👉 Part 2 — The Longer You Train, The More Fuel You Need

Don’t wait until you’re struggling to fuel. Fuel before you need it.

The longer you train, the more fuel you need.

It sounds obvious, but it’s something many people get wrong.

The longer and harder you train, the more energy your body uses — and that means your nutrition needs to support your training.

If you’re doing a short gym session, your fuel needs will be different from someone cycling for two hours, running long distances or completing a HYROX session.

Under-fuelling can leave you feeling:
❌ Low on energy
❌ Slower to recover
❌ More fatigued
❌ Less able to perform consistently

Your training load changes.
Your fuel should change with it.

This is Part 2 of my nutrition series, building on the previous video about carbohydrates for training.

👉 Watch Part 1 first, then come back to this one.

Train hard. Fuel appropriately. Recover better.

YOUR BUTT CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!

Training gluteus will require you to do some variety of squats, hip hinge exercises and single leg exercise such as lunges/step ups.
These exercises helps with bone density which means thicker and stronger bones. As we get older, we lose balance, trip and may fall breaking bones… did you get it?
Prevention is the best medicine.

GLUTES (aka butt)

1. They protect your lower back by helping control your pelvis and taking stress away from the lumbar spine.
2. They share the load between your hips, legs and back instead of letting one area do everything.
3. They improve everyday movement — walking, climbing stairs, standing up, lifting and carrying all rely on them.
4. They stabilize your hips and knees, helping you move with better control and alignment.
5. They create power for running, cycling, jumping, squatting and pretty much every strong athletic movement.

So yes, a good-looking butt is a bonus — but a strong butt is actually part of a strong, functional body.
