Educating the world on the health benefits of chewing gum

Your mouth is home to over 700 species of bacteria, and what happens there doesn’t stay there.
When harmful bacteria take over, your gums become inflamed. That inflammation, along with bacteria, can enter your bloodstream, which is why poor oral health has been linked to heart disease, type 2 diabetes, pregnancy complications, and is being studied for its role in fertility.
Your daily oral habits don’t just protect your teeth - they influence your whole-body health.
🦷 Brush twice daily
🦷 Floss before bed
🦷 Clean your tongue
🦷 Stay hydrated
🦷 Chew pure xylitol gum after meals to support a healthier oral microbiome
The secret is out 💧

Elite footballers have missed games because of tooth pain🦷⚽
A new EFP-backed report says oral health belongs alongside sleep and nutrition as a performance factor - not an afterthought.
Your toothbrush works 4 minutes a day. Your mouth is on duty for the rest of it: eating, talking, breathing, all day, every day.
Chewing after meals keeps saliva flowing, which is doing quiet work to protect your teeth in between brushes.
Save this for your next training block 💪

Many people ask us this question: what’s actually the difference between regular sugar-free gum and KAIGUM? 🦷
“Sugar-free” simply means there’s no sugar, but it doesn’t mean there are no artificial sweeteners and it doesn’t automatically guarantee oral health benefits either. Yes, it won’t feed harmful bacteria like regular gum can, but that alone doesn’t necessarily mean it actively supports oral health.
The ingredients, and especially the amount of xylitol, matter if you’re after oral health benefits and support.
Many sugar-free gums contain only small amounts of xylitol mixed with other sweeteners, mainly for flavour. We use 100% pure birch tree xylitol at levels studied for dental benefits, designed to help support teeth between brushes, after meals and acidic drinks - when your mouth is most vulnerable.
Chew better💙

A friend recently asked why an option this well-evidenced is still so rarely used.
The honest answer: most gums contain barely any xylitol. Not enough to do much. The science is real, the dose usually isn’t.
Kaigum is 1.5g per piece, chewed for about ten minutes after meals. And at roughly 18–20p a piece, it costs less than your morning coffee!
Life is better with little mlue 💙

While we sleep, the bacteria in our mouths are just getting started 🦷🌙
At night, saliva flow drops significantly - meaning less natural protection against acids, bacteria, and plaque build-up. That’s why harmful bacteria can multiply much faster overnight and why morning breath happens in the first place.
Going to sleep with leftover food, plaque, or an acidic mouth gives bacteria hours to thrive uninterrupted. Supporting your oral environment before bed matters just as much as brushing ✨
These are 3 things we wish more people knew before choosing chewing gum🫣
